Subject: Timothy's Top 10
Japanese Cards w/ Translations
The Timothy Top Ten Cards"
Here is
my Top 10 cards from all the japanese Yu-Gi-Oh Series.
10. BIG SHIELD
GUARDER
Type: Effect Monster
Earth/Warrior/4/100/2600
Effect: If this
Monster is face-down when a Magic card targets
it, negate that Magic
card. At that time, this Monster changes
to face-up defense mode.
At the end of a Damage Step in which
this Monster was attacked, it changes to
attack mode.
Obviously, this guy is a
staple in Defense decks. The switch to attack mode is a problem is your opponent
has 2+ monsters on the field.
9. IINSECT QUEEN
Type: Effect
Monster
Earth/Insect/7/2200/2400
Effect: You must sacrifice 1 Monster in
order for this Monster to
attack. Increase this Monster's attack
strength by 200 for each
Insect Sub-Type Monster on the Field. If this
Monster destroys
another Monster in combat, summon an [Insect Monster
Token]
(Earth/Insect/1/100/100) to the Field at the end of the
turn.
I currently run an insect deck and this
is a great card. Add DNA surgery and with a full field, you got a mean
queen!
8. CHAOS
NECROMANCER
Dark/Fiend/1/0/0
This card's attack strength is 300 times the
number of Monster
cards in your graveyard.
This is a much betetr monster than shadow ghoul IF you have
over 6 cards in your graceyard. Its low level might be a problem for skull lair,
but its great if you have a gravity bind!
7. CHAOS SOLDIER -MESSENGER OF
CREATION-
Light/Warrior/8/3000/2500
This card cannot be Normal
Summoned. Remove 1 Light and Dark
Main-Type Monster in your graveyard
from the game to Special
Summon this Monster. Once during your turn,
you can choose 1 of
the following effects and activate it.
- Remove 1
Monster on the Field from the game. If you activate
this effect, this
card cannot attack during this turn.
- If this card destroys an opponent's
Monster as a result of
Battle, this Monster can attack 1 more
time.
I have one word for this:
WOW!
6.BLACK SCORPION - TRAP REMOVER
KURIFU
Dark/Warrior/3/1200/1000
When this card does Battle Damage to your
opponent, choose 1 of
the following effects to activate:
- Destroy 1 Magic
or Trap card on the Field
- Discard the top 2 cards of your opponent's
deck
When this card gets released in english,
it will definatley help deck depletion decks.
5.Dark PALADIN
Dark/Magic User/8/2900/2400
(Fusion)
[Dark Magician] + [Buster Blader]
This Monster can only be Special Summoned
by a Fusion. While
this card is face-up on the Field, you may discard 1
card from
your hand to negate and destroy a Magic activation.
Increase
this Monster's attack strength by 500 for each Dragon
Sub-Type
Monster on the Field and in each player's graveyard.
Great Card with a great magic jamming effect. Devastating in
a dragon deck.
4.FIEND
SOLDIER
Dark/fiend/4/1900/1500
Need I say more?
3.GREAT DEMON GAAZETTO
Dark/Fiend/6/0/0
This card's
attack strength is double the base attack strength of
the Monster sacrificed
to summon this card in a Sacrifice Summon.
Wil greatly improve Fiend decks. It gets 4600 atatck just by
sacrificing a Goblin Attack Force.
2.JUDGEMENT OF ANUBIS
Counter Trap
Discard 1
card from your hand. Negate and destroy a Magic card
activation and
effect that has a [Destroy Magic/Trap cards on the
Field] effect controlled
by your opponent. Afterward, you can
destroy 1 of your opponent's
face-up Monsters on the Field, and
do damage to your opponent equal to that
Monster's attack
strength.
This will become a staple when released! And you can save its
destroy monster effect for later!
1. My NUMBER 1 JAPANESE CARD IS.......(Drum Roll)
RED
LOTUS BEAST, DA IIZA
Fire/Fiend/3/?/?
This Monster's attack strength is
400 times the number of
cards that were removed from the game.
even
though this cannot be fetched by sangan, witch, UFO turtle (Because its atatck
and defense is ?? not 0)
Perfect against and with a Skull Lair Deck. This is one of my
personal favorite decks. Just remove 10 and thats an automatic 4000
attack!
