This is my
(HSB's) top ten Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG monsters, magics and traps list.
MONSTERS
10. Barrel Dragon - A
2-tribute is harder to summon these days, but if used well it provides a 2-4-1
monster destruction chance.
9. Summoned Skull -
1-tribute. 2500 ATK. Nuff said.
8. Magician of Faith - A
staple card in my view. Without it, all magics must be used too cautiously.
7. Man-Eater Bug - Flip.
Destroy.
8. Yata-Garasu - Yata lock
= game.
6. Gemini Elf - 1900 ATK
owns these lame 1800 attackers.
5. Jirai Gumo - You guys
must be thinking 'WHAT'. Well Jirai 2200 ATK is great! losing half isn't as bad
as you think (if your good).
4. Goblin Attack Force -
The strongest level-4 attacker. 2300 direct is awesome and going to DEF isn't
bad as long as you protect it.
3. Exiled Force - Faster
Man-Eater but costs you your summon. Always awesome if you reborn
it.
2. Jinzo - Who doesn't know
why it's staple?
1. Spear Dragon - My
favourite attacker. I have won duels with it because it owz flip effect monsters
and scape goats.
MAGICS
10. Swords of Revealing
Light - Kinda outdated but 3 turns of safety is always good. Mystical Space
Typhoon bait.
9. Mystical Space Typhoon -
Quick-play makes it stop those Imperial Order and Waboku from activating.
8. Snatch Steal - A second
version of Change of Heart which can sometimes = game.
7. Monster Reborn - Monster
recurssion never hurt.
6. Gaceful Charity - Mass
draw power is good. Potentially draw up to 3 awesome cards and get ride of 2
nasty ones.
5. Harpie's Feather Duster
- Raigeki removing Set M/T's.
4. Change of Heart - A free Summoned
Skull, sometimes = game or get a free Magicion of Faith.
3. Pot of Greed - 2 free
cards...STAPLE.
2. Raigeki - Possibly the
best magic card in the game. Usually = game.
1. Tribute the The Doomed -
My favourite magic card ever. Destroying one monster most of the time =
game.
TRAPS
10. 7 Tools of the Bandit - Very
outdated but can sometimes save you.
9. Solemn Judgement - Most
versatile but kinda costly. Stops Jinzo.
8. Magic Drain - Guaranteed
magic destruction (unless countered). But not a good counter as it is up to the
opponent.
7. Trap Hole - Outdated but some
duelists use them well.
6. Magic Jammer - Great card
BUT starting to reach an outdated state.
5. Call of the Haunted - Much
better than Premature Burial: no cost and can be activated on the
opponent's turn.
4. Torrential Tribute - Better
than Dark Hole byfar and isn't limited.
3. Magic Cylinder - They attack
themselves. Makes your opponent looking embarrased if you win with
it.
2. Imperial Order - Counter and
can cause lockdown. Get rid of it when you have useful
magics...STAPLE.
1. Mirror Force - Best trap in the
game. The first pack I bought, I got it!
