Yu-Gi-Oh! Top 10 Peskiest Cards
I’m going to name (IMO) the top 10 peskiest cards in the game, that can mean the difference between victory or defeat. These cards are great but when facing these pesky little buggers it could be annoying, they get you mad and are basically pointless (to me).
10. Share The
Pain:
Sure go
ahead and laugh, I’m with you, but you would be surprised how many people play
this card. It’s a pointless card to me but sure does a lot of damage if played
right. I hate it when your leading the game and control is on your side and your
opponent plays this card to suicide one of his monster for one of
yours.
9. Robbin’
Goblin:
This card I have to admit isn’t bad, but isn’t good when played against you.
It’s at its most powerful stage when he has control over you and is playing you
like a puppet. With this, you could be watching an entire plan flow away while
he is picking random cards from you.
8.
Michizure: Right about know, your
probably saying: “How is this a threat? and how is this card pesky?” Well the
answer doesn’t lie in just 1 card it lies in 2 or 3. The reason for this is
because you can have trouble keeping monsters on the field and making you think
twice about what you’re attacking. Normally this card is chained to a FLIP
effect monster because since they’re so weak once there flipped and are
vulnerable to do some direct damage your opponent is almost taunting you to
attack so he can get rid of any monster of his pleasing.
7.
Yata-Garasu: Weird name: YES. Pesky card:
YES. This card can be very lethal in any type of deck. As soon as you get them
in a Yata lock they’re practically done. Very pesky not allowing you to draw, I
mean that’s the most important phase of the game (IMO). You’re probably asking
yourself: “If it’s so pesky, why isn’t it more in like the top 3?” Well the
answer is because its so hard to perform the Yata lock and because this monster
is so weak it has to do direct damage to actually work it’s
magic.
6. Mask Of
Restrict: This card I have to admit
isn’t bad but played at the right time for your opponent can be really annoying
for you. When you need to bring out the big guns and more power you try to
sacrifice, YOU CANT! You try to use [Cannon Soldier]’s or [Catapult Turtle]’s
effect, YOU CANT! But this card does have loopholes to bypass
it.
5. Gravity
Bind: This
Card I am only saying is pesky at a beatdown point of view. This along with
^^^[Mask Of Restrict]^^^ is a deadly combination. Why is this card peskier then
[Mask Of Restrict]? Well simply because level 4 or lower monsters are your base
monsters. Without being able to use them is more lethal then not being able to
sacrifice.
4. The Dark
Door:
Another little bugger that will annoy you completely. This Card has its ups and
downs, I will have to admit its good in certain decks (Burner, Deck disruption,
Stall). But in a beatdown deck it’s a nightmare. Especially when its combined
with [Scapegoat] and/or [Jam Breeding Machine]. But as good or bad it may be,
IMO it’s a waste of space.
3. Convulsion Of
Nature:
This card has
to be one of the worst possible cards. Yes, I agree it does have its advantages,
like using [Drop Off] or something, but what is the point of turning your deck
around and looking at what your opponent is going to draw? It takes half the fun
out of the game.
2. Bottomless Trap
Hole:
You have a
really nice plan worked out, you’re about to fuse [Zombyra The Dark] &
[Maryokutai] to bring forth the almighty [The last Warrior From Another Planet].
Also hidden face down is the treacherous [Last Turn]. With this plan you will
win the game because he can’t special summon any monsters (due to [Last Turn]’s
effect). With your turn starting and only 800 LPs left, you activate
polymerization and bring forth Last Warrior. As soon as he is special summoned,
BOOM! [Bottomless Trap Hole] is activated, leaving you with nothing.
1.
Waboku:
Picture this, you have just sacrificed for the best monster in your deck. You
got also some really strong attackers on the field like Gemini elves and some
1800 attackers. Your opponent has not put any monster cards down, (you assume he
has too much magic in his hand and cant put a monster down). There’s only one
magic/trap card on the field that’s been there for quite a while now. Not
bothering to think what it is you’re about to deliver the final blow and win the
tournament. As soon as you declare your attack BOOM! “I play Waboku”. This card
has annoyed me for so long its good to use just not when its being played
against you.
Well that’s all of it, IMO
that’s the most annoying cards in the game. Of course there are more like “The
Staples” but I focused on trying to say that sometimes the simplest cards are
the most lethal.
