10. Stealth
Bird. 700/1700 Atk/Def and 3 Stars. That means it can slip under Gravity
Bind if for some reason you choose to attack with it, but thats not Stealth
Bird's real good ability. When this card is FLIP SUMMONED (not flipped face up)
your oppenent loses 1000 LP. And it can go back face down every Main Phase.
There's some good possibility there.
9. Coffin Seller. The
slightly better version of Skull Invitation, works only for monster cards, but
only effects your oppenent. Best part is that if you can manage to get
three of these on the field and you oppenent loses a monster, they also lose 900
LP which is a pretty hefty loss of LP.
8. Nightmare Wheel.
Many people overlook this card as its really only good when used for a while,
but with MST running around like the flu, this card doesn't get the job done.
But if you play smart this card will wither your oppenent's LP to nothing in no
time.
7. Just Desserts. This card
may have been around since the start of Yu-Gi-Oh but is still a basic staple for
Burn Decks. Why? Because of the chain abilities of this card. Example: Your
oppenent's LP are open so you choose to attack. They chain with Scapegoat
and then you chain with Just Desserts. They may have stopped your attack but you
just did 2000 to their LP. Need I say more?
6. Barrel Behind the
Door. The ultimate Rind of Destruction saver. This negates the effect of a
card that inflicts Direct Damage to you and sends it to your oppenent instead.
Sweet.
5. Curse of Darkness. Each
time a Spell card is activated, the controller of that Spell card takes 1000
points of damage. 1000 POINTS! That's a lot, but then why is it only #5? Because
it also works against you. This card is awesome, just you need some
stratagy to use it.
4. Ring of Desruction. This
card can usually finish off a duel, through its ability to destroy ANY face up
monster to inflict Direct Damage to both players LP. The only thing that could
make this card better was if it only hurt your oppenent but that would be too
powerful... or would it?
3. Wave-Motion Cannon. This
card is awesome. Why? Because half the time your oppenent forgets all about it,
and then a few turns later you blow it away for enough Direct Damage to wipe out
their LP. Best part? This was a common card from Magician's Force, so it's not
to hard to get your hands on.
2. Lava Golem. This card is
good with combos. What you do is sacrafice two of your oppenents monsters to
play this 3000/2500 monster on your oppenents side of the field. Well now your
oppenent has a 3000 attacker right? Well they do, but also lose 1000 LP each
turn from our good friend Lava Golem, and if we play Gravity Bind or something
like that our Lava Golem will be stuck slowly destroying our oppenents. Nice
huh?
1. Magic Cylinder. We've all
experienced this card. Whether is was using it or being on the recieving end,
this card is a must have for almost any deck. What your LP are open
and your Lava Golem your oppenent controls is about to finish off your LP?! Well
you just activate Magic Cylinder and deal 3000 more Direct Damage to your
already suffering oppenent.
