Dan DaSilva's Yu-Gi-Oh! Top 10
Cards To Have In a Deck
#10. Mirror
Force
-- Mirror Force
is obviously a really good card and that is why it is on this
list,
but you are probably
wondering why it is at number ten instead of number 1.
The reason is because
it is a necessity but I cannot think of a way you
can
combo with this card.
The only way you can combo with this card is if you
combine it with Zero
Gravity or any other trap or quick play magic card that
make monsters go in
attack mode. Don't get me wrong this card is
beautiful
because it
can save your behind in a tough spot like when your opponent
has
really good or a
lot of monsters and, especially, when you want to get rid of a
friend's
monster.
09. Cyber
Jar
-- Cyber Jar is
probably the best flip summon monster in the game because,
no
matter what kind of deck
you have, this card proves to be used universally.
Especially when your in a
jam, you set this card down and whether it's
destroying your opponents
monsters(good or bad monsters) or just needing to
get some good cards in your
hand and having monsters to protect you from
harm. The only thing that
can stop it is Royal Command, Skill Drain, and
monsters that negate the
effects of monsters when destroyed by those
monsters. It's also good
because, just like MF, you can destroy monsters that
your opponent really adores
and crush their spirit which does help in a duel,
believe it or not.
08.
Swords of Revealing
Light
-- What makes this
card great is the fact that it is the best card that stops your
monsters from attacking
because of the fact that you can attack them
without
them attackin you. The only
con thing about it is the fact that it only lasts for
three turns, but, "Hey!
Come On!" if that stops you from getting it or putting it
in your deck then you got a
problem. Obviously, there are cards that can
negate it but what can't be
negated am I right?
07. Magic
Cylinder
-- You are
probably thinking that I have completely lost mu mind by having this
card at number 7 but hear
me out, ok. It happens to be one of the best Trap
Cards in the game but the
fact is that it isn't a must have but a what you want
to have because there are a
lot of good trap cards out there that can save your
hide and this is just one
of them. Don't get me wrong this is a really good card
to have in your deck
because you can not only save yourself but at the same
time hurt your opponent or
even finish him off.
06. Harpie's Feather
Duster
-- Yet again another
amazing card that should be at the top but
unfortunately
isn't. This
card is really good but the only reason it isn't is because I think
there are other cards that
are better because of their dependability at a given
moment or how well they can
be used in combos. This card can be combined
with Raigeki to help you
win the duel or just stop your opponents defenses
to
give you time to take a
breath.
05. Raigeki
-- Raigeki just like Harpie's is also a must have and it is such a valuable card
because from experience it
can make your opponent really angry which
causes that spirit crush I
was talking about. It is also good because you can
destroy your opponents
monsters and maybe use cards like Cliff the Trap
Remover to destroy face-up
or face-down magic/traps. Obviously, you can
combine it with Harpie's to
end their existence and claim all the glory. It
really
helps in a tough bind
when your opponent think he's overpowering you
you can crush whatever
plans they had of winning.
04. Giant Trunade
-- What makes this card top the
rest is the fact that it can save your hide and be
well used in a combo to frighten
your opponent. You can Combine it with Card
Destruction and use it with cards
like Raigeki(in case you don't have Harpie's),
you can also combine it with Des
Koala, which does 400 direct damage to
your
opponents life points for
each card that you have in your hand, and you can use
it with cards like Swords of
Revealing Light to get it back for use again.
03.Imperial
Order
-- Imperial Order can only
endowed to those with royal blood or are members of a
high class society. Im just kidding,
everyone can have it and everyone should
own it. The reason for ownability is
because it is the best magic/spell negator in
the game. Sure, it is bad that you have
to pay 700 life points each standby
phase but think of the fact that your opponent cannot use magic/spell cards on
you(like Raigeki or Harpie's).
02.Jinzo
-- Jinzo is the best Trap negator and that is something that he cannot be denied
of. The reason for Jinzo is
because he is useful especially when you want to
use magics/spells like Raigeki,
Harpie's, MST, etc. He also helps you attack
your opponents life points
directly when they have no monsters on the field.
But, he can easily be taken
advantage of by your opponent by using a
magic/
spell card against
you.
01.VAMPIRE
LORD
-- Vampire Lord
is the MUST HAVE because it has one of the best effects that a
monster can have. It destroys a
magic/spell, trap, or monster card that is in
your opponents deck and that can
give them a tough decision to make. Also,
it comes back alive when your
opponent uses a spell card, trap card, or
Man-
Eater like effects.It's
attack points isn't so good for a five star monter but, hey
man, the effect is totally worth
it.
