JNP's Top Ten Zombie deck list

Hi there!

For all of you who prefer the rotten & bad smelling type of monsters, namely Fie...no, Zombie-Type monsters, here's my Top ten Zombie deck list:

10.Des Lacooda: Why Des Lacooda? Because it's a rotten camel...:) no seriously: the possibility of drawing 2 cards every round insteaed of one is giving him rank 10 in my list...just protect him with wabokus or with rank 3 of this list :).

9.Ryu Kokki: This nice creature is a perfect pet in a girl's home :). With stats of 2400/2000 and lvl6, he beats almost every popular beatsick and is searchable via Pyramid turtle! (because of his 2000 defense)

8.Red-Moon Baby: Killer effect. Horrible stats: 700/1000. Just equip him with something biiiig (uws, 2x axe of d. :), mage power) and watch the opponents monsters join your party :).

7.Spirit Reaper: Almost anyone knows this guy, poor stats 300/200 but great effect (with a small drawback); u can use him to block ur opponents attacks (he's indestructible in battle) or to disrupt their hand...

6.Despair from the Dark: Ah, one of my favourite Zombies...Best stats for a Zobie monster 2800/3000 lvl8, Killer effect: when he is sent directly from ur hand or ur deck to the graveyard by your opponent, your opponent  will regret that he/she has used that drop off/don zaloog/delinquent duo card etc. on this card... Best when facing a deck/hand disruption deck.(By the way, he has a smaller brother with exactly the same effect but poor stats 1700/1500 called Fear from the Dark -> but he's a staple in Iron Maiden decks ;) ...

5.Book of Life: (Normal Spell) Ah, the monster reborn for Zombies from ur graveyard. one little drawback(?): u must remove one opponent's monster in his/her graveyard from play-> well, only at the beginning of the game ur opponent won't have monsters in his/her graveyard, so that shouldn't be a problem...

4.Call of the Mummy: (Continous Spell) Best used when u actually have a Giant MUMMY in ur hand :). This card is insane: if u have no monsters on ur side of the field u can play any, I repeat any Zombie type monster from ur hand, even Vampire Lord or Despair from the Dark (2800/3000!!! I know that attack power isn't the most important thing, but just look at your opponent face after u play THIS from ur hand :) ) Every Zobie deck player should abuse this card!!!

3.Patrician of Darkness: I call him Vampire Lord's Cousin; just look at his stats (2000/1400) lvl5 and the artwork. What can I say, again he's got a killer effect: when ur opponent attacks u can decide, which of ur monsters he'll will have to attack!!! many combos possible with spirit reaper+pyramid turtle etc.

2.Vampire Lord: Why second place? Well, in a Zombie deck he should be rank 1 don't u think? no, I have another monster that deserves rank 1 in a Zombie deck; I won't describe V-Lord, everyone knows that he's very powerful and extremly hard to get rid of once u got him onto the field...ah, all u V-Lord lovers: watch out for: book of moon+Noc; Jirai Gumo :), GAF, Berserk Gorilla, Zombyra the Dark, Giant Orc, Rush recklessy :), and the dangerous dimension-duo: Dimensional Warrior and D.D. Warrior Lady...and many other combos...

1.Pyramid Turtle:  Applause for the mighty turtle! 3 of these are staple in a Zombie deck; when it dies in battle (which is really the only small drawback of this card), u can summon any Zombie monster from ur deck (a Zombie with 2000 defense or less hahaha) to the field except despair from the dark (who has only 1000 defense too much :)...I repeat, u can summon almost every zombie monster in attack or defense position (good for spirit reapers).

Examples: PT dies in battle: Mmmm...let's get my V-Lord on the Field! or my reaper to protect my lifepoints! or another turtle (deck thinning ?)

It also has the coolest Artwork of any monsters in the game, I mean: have u ever seen a turtle with a goatie and a pyramid on its back? Aha :) .
