And now presenting, Pook's Top Ten Abilities From the Anime You Wish You Had:

 

10.  Inflicting Life Points to the Player Themselves – Alright, funny story.  I was dueling a friend a year ago and he was just starting out, and I hit him with this wicked direct damage combo and coincidentally, his nose started to bleed.  Him, being a good sport said, “Ah!  My life points!”  He was ok, but it made me feel, well…….evil.  In the good way…….hehe……….

 

9.  Go to School Never – OK, this will soon become a reality for me (graduating college in 3 weeks!) but these guys are NEVER in school.  They were there a few times during the first season, but they are never there.  Either they are on a long field trip to the Duelist Kingdom and Battle City, OR, they dropped out.  That’s not a good example to set for kids. 

 

8.  Revenge – Everyone seems to hate everyone.  I want to do that too.  lol

 

7.  Unlimited Money and Access to Every Card Ever Made – Do these guys even buy cards, or do they just appear in their decks?  I’d be really poor if I were them, having all of these rare cards and whatnot.  Then again, we do rarely see them eat, so maybe that’s where they get the money. 

 

6.  Stealing Souls – bwahahahahahaha.  Everyone does it, why can’t I?????????????????????

 

5.  Duel Disks – yes, they are big and gaudy, but man………whoa………uh huh. 

 

4.  Multiple Personalities – ok, I don’t want to make fun of people who actually have this problem, but I think it could be interesting to have an ancient spirit live inside of me.  Even one of the evil ones, it’s cool!  It’s just that……I get lonely sometimes…….

 

3.  Yugi’s Fashion sense – who else has the confidence to walk around in an awesome S&M leather outfit while still in high school?  That, and the ladies love him. 

 

2.  Millennium Items - ::drools:: OMG OMG OMG – Any will be fine.  Just having some sort of scary ancient ability over someone would RULE!  Bully bothering you at school?  Millennium Rod him.  Really hard test coming up, Millennium Eye.  Want to play the lottery?  Millennium Necklace.  Wow.  Just…..wow. 

 

1. Shadow Realm! – Think about it, you’re playing a real wise guy who is so confident that they will be beat you, and suddenly you turn the tables and annihilate him – PENALTY GAME!  Send him to the Shadow Zone, laugh for all time.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  I know, I’m evil.
