Alex's Yugioh Top 10 Cards that
belong in a Dragon Deck
The following is my list of the top
10 cards that belong in a Dragon Deck!
10)
Spirit
Ryu
Dragon
Level
4
Wind
Attack: 1000
Defense:
1000
This card is sort of like the
Injection Fairy Lily of Dragons, but a bit more situational. Discard only
two dragons and boom, 3000 attack NO tribute. Easy enough in a dragon
deck.
9) Dragon's
Rage
Continuous
Trap
The Fairy Meteor Crush in trap form
for Dragons. You can use Fairy Meteor Crush if you want, or
both.
8)
Lord of Dragons-Flute of Summoning
Dragon
Level
4
Dark
Spellcaster
Attack:
1200
Defense: 1100
Keep him in defense mode, and
protect him. You will be unstoppable. No magic, trap, or flip
effects? What's not to like. Use a flute to summon up to TWO dragons
(preferably strong tribute ones) for no cost.
7)
Black Skull
Dragon
Dark
Dragon
Level
9
Attack:
3200
Defense:
2500
Fusion: Summoned Skull + Red
Eyes Black Dragon
However unpopular fusions may or
may not be, 3200 is excellent, despite he isn't terribly easy to
summon.
6)
Thunder
Dragon
Light
Dragon
Level
5
Attack:
1600
Defense:
1500
The dragon itself, you should look
at and let your chin hit the ground. Throw him away, trade him, etc.
But, run three, use his effect, BAM! 2800 attack for Twin Headed Thunder
Dragon!
6b)
Spear
Dragon
Level
4
Wind
Dragon
Attack:
1900
Defense: 0
The built in Fairy Meteor Crush for
a 1900 level 4 is excellent. The Goblin defense drawback isn't bad, but,
oh well. He'll work for at least one turn. Protect him and use him
over and over.
5) Twin Headed Thunder
Dragon
Light
Dragon
Level
8
Attack:
2800
Defense:
2100
So easy to summon, and 2800 attack
is pretty good for a fusion.
4)
Barrel
Dragon
Dark
Machine
Level
6
Attack:
2600
Defense:
2200
True, he is a machine, not a dragon,
but his power and effect should be respected. But, if you don't want him,
go for my tie for fourth.
4b)
Tri-Horned
Dragon
Level
8
Dark
Attack:
2850
Defense:
2350
If you want an ACTUAL dragon, then
choose this guy over Barrel Dragon. He has no effect, but 250 more attack
points, and 150 more defense. However, he is a Secret Rare. So, take
your pick. (or run both, I don't
care...)
3)
Blue Eyes White
Dragon
Level
8
Dragon
Light
Attack:
3000
Defense:
2500
The old powerhouse himself. He
fits well in a dragon deck, or most any deck I've found. A respectable
dragon, and monster.
2)
Chaos Emperor
Dragon
Level
8
Dark
Dragon
Attack:
3000
Defense:
2500
Yes, he is an excellent card, let
alone dragon with an equally good effect. I personally don't like him, but
he isn't a bad card. I run one myself in my Dragon
Deck.
1)
Tyrant
Dragon
Level
8
Fire
Dragon
Attack:
2900
Defense:
2500
Now, here we go, the best dragon in
the game, in MY opinion. He falls just 100 attack short of Blue Eyes and
Chaos Emperor. However, his more then likely double attack is
excellent. Negate certain traps? Even nicer, his only drawback is
the revival ability, but would be NO problem in a dragon
deck.
