George M's Yu-gi-oh Top 10 overall best cards EVER list

 

Hey all, i haven't written a top 10 post in many a while...anyway, onto the top 10 best cards Ever in the game of Yu-gi-oh

 

10. Premature Burial

     Spell Card - Equip

     Pay 800 LP select 1 monster card from your graveyard and special summon it on your side of the field in face-up attack position and equip it with this card. When this card is destroyed, the monster is also destroyed.

 

     A Wonderful spell that has been, and will be used by many because of its easy access to it, now being in the kaiba evolution. this card is in my opinion the 2nd best to monster reborn, obviously for its effect, but in the game of yugioh, there aren't many reborn cards...well not playable ones anyway and this card fro the cost of 800lp provides one with extra def. (ironic because the monster is in attack) and the replaying of former cards that have been destroyed, this card and other reborn cards come into play more when one needs to search etc., meaning if one has a witch of the black forest in the grave, and a jinzo in hand (just saying) premature the witch, tribute for jinzo, and u get to search...OK, IM just blabbing on now...next card

 

9. Card destruction

     Spell card

    Both players discard their entire hands and draw the same number of cards they have discarded from their respective decks.

 

    Now, obviously i may have many people who disagree with me on this card. here is why it even has a place on this list....with the vast amount of high level monsters in the game, i see no reason why there arent reanimation decks, meaning, a deck runs high level monsters, uses card destruction and reborns away, having field control as well as hand control, not many people see a use for this card anymore...idk why, its prolly one of the best draw cards available , especially when running a dark magician deck or running 3 or more tributes (Jinzo, vampire lord, Airknight parshath, anubis) anyway, this card is very good to speed up a deck, reborn cards, and get the cards needed in a deck , this card is also good with chaos decks speeding up the discard as well as "searching" out the chaos monsters due to the effect of card destrctuion...

 

8.Torrential Tribute

Trap card

 

You can activate this card when a monster is summoned destroy all monsters on the field.

 

i mean, do i even have to say something about this card, i would personally run 3 of these...if i had em....a trap cards effect that can nearly reproduce dark holes effect is nothing to scoff at...the best strategies are to flip cyber jar and flip tottentiel if overwhelmed with opponents monsters. its also good to clear the field, simply premature witch, play torrneital, search and summon yata...simple as that..well not much to say bout this card...at least one is reccomended...

 

7.Sinister serpent

    Monster-Water-Reptile

    During your standby phase if a "sinister serpent" exists in  your graveyard, you can return the sinister serpent to your hand.

 

    the monster of monsters, the all mighty the all weak small 300/200 monster that dosent quit, the possiblites are endless with this monster, this is a monster that basically belongs in every deck, many decks have trouble keeping hold of monsters in their hand, or in their field, this solves that problem...it constantly comes back...now many fo u are saying...it can get crossed-out, or its to weak...now honestly...what monster in DEF cannot get crossed out, and who would honestly want their opponent to have a level 4, 1900/1500 monster that keeps on coming back..no one, this monsters stats r perfect where they are, best used with graceful, mirage of nightmare-softening the blow, comes back after chaos dragoned, comes back after tribe, tribute to the doomed, the list is endless........however....there is a new controversy with a new monster named night assailant i believe...some new monster thats has a similiar effect to sinister as in it comes back or it returns a flip monster to the owners hand once it hits the grave.....@_@ ok...so ur saying i have to run 2-3 of these man-eater bug wanna-bes to have one return when the other goes from my hand....not even worth it...i dont know much about the assailant...but it sure aint no serpent, which has no cost...it just wants to be loved...and wants to be in your hand...

 

 

6.Witch of the black forest

    Monster-Dark-Spellcaster

    When this card is sent from the field to the graveyard , select one monster with a Def OF 1500 or less from your deck , show it to your opponent and add it to your hand. then shuffle your deck.

 

well....what have we here...the almighty woman of the forest 1100/1200 the picture isnt the best...and not the best atk/def...but who cares...this monster alone can search more than half of the monsters out now in the current came, this card is A STAPLE in many a deck, not all, but many, especially beatdown, where the attack out weighs the def...this helps to speed up decks by searching out jinzo or other tributes so u dont top deck them later...it would have been broken if it would have worked from your hand to graveyard as well...but who wants the game to be that easy.

 

5.Ring of destruction

    Trap-

    Destroy 1 face-up monster card and inflict direct damage equal to the destoyed monsters ATK to the life points of you and you opponent.

 

The great Bell of destruction as we once knew it in the video game world...the picture is a bit edited...but it looked better with fire spewing from a ring...this is great as we all know for field control...great when blowing up CED and still inflicting an extra 3000 to your opponent....great to destroy that attacking monster or burning up that yata flying ur way...this cards uses are endless, but it shouldnt be used in every deck...as a i read some where on pojo...people should take into consideration the LP cost that this card has hidden...people dont realize...if ur running....chaos emperor, magical scientist, premature burial, delinqient duo, confiscation and ring of destruction.,....u aint lasting long in a duel...your practicly burning ur self to death in a game....this card is best when side-decked, thats it major use is not to be always main decked, unless needed...when main decked it is awesome dont get me wrong...but watch out for the back lash of those flying grenades....

 

4.Chaos Emperor dragon-Envoy of the end

this is gonna take a while to type....*holds breath*

 

This card can only be special summoned by removing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster in your graveyard from play. pay 1000 of your LP to send all cards in both players hand's and on the field to the graveyard. inflict 300 points of damage to your opponents LP for each card that is sent to the graveyard by this effect.

 

*breathes out* not that bad

 

I was walking down the street the other day and i looked at a jeep named "ENVOY" i was taken back when i saw this i could only imagine how CED would destoy this envoy in a battle...this dragon...should...not be taken lightly....its effect is far to powerful to even have been created....does not any one realize...that by printing this card they have released a god into the game, none the god cards in yugioh..thought not playable...cant even withstand this cards effect. this destroys everything.....exodia now had no chance...ok, why am i talking about this card like it just came out..u all know what it does...but reguardless..this cards art is flawless the dark sun in the back signifying the end was perfect on who ever drew its part...well, there aint much to say about this card...i thought i would..or could have said more....but nope...cant...anyway...its all good (O_O)

 

3. Waboku

 

Trap card-SDJ-046

ANY damage inflicted by an opponents monster is decreased to to 0 during the turn this card is activated.

 

above i wrote the SDJ-046 for a reason...there have been to many re-prints of this card and this is the one i have ...i use...i love....there had been to much controversy over one single card that its rediculous...for the final time...this card STOPS ALL....I MEAN ALLL DAMAGE FOR 1 TURN...not just on your side of the field....but on each field...no one takes any damage, there isnt a scratch...mabye on the card itself...but no one  takes any damage, if you activate waboku and ur opponent has attacked ur v-lord with his v-lord or w/e no one dies, ur oppoent does not take 2000 and u do not declare etc...no damage what so ever, people have been wondering for so long, i wish i had the link to the real ruling on this card, it works for all ur monsters, its basically a card that gives u 1 free turn. nothing else, nothing less, simply amazing, waboku as we know was one of the 1st cards made...meaning in the starter sets ..and its effect was simple and sweet...nothing to it...just no damage...then the questions started, what about oppoents monsters , what about blue eyes against blue eyes...is ur gonna make so much drama over one card dont use it...simple as that..use scapegoats i'd rather have 4 goats then 3 woman standing for 1 turn and they last longer..but then u get into the whole they can be raigekied and dark holed....but what monster cant, theyre only monsters not tokens with the effect of spirit reaper...just meant to stall....waboku is an amazing card for meny reasons, i personally would run 3...but i only have 2 *cough* highly reccomended for all....im done..now onto.......my fav last 2 cards...

 

 

2. Mirage of Nightmare

    Magic card-Continuous

 

    During your opponent's standby phase, draw cards until your hand has 4 cards. during your Standby phase, randomly discard the same number of cards you drew with this cards effect to the graveyard.

 

    If i could use 3 of these i so would....when PGD 1st came out, i pulled 3 of these from random packs..and i figured it was meant 4 me...im crazy for any card that allows you to replenish your hand or add more cards to it...when a card has the potential to add 5 card-1 being the draw, i fall for it...who dosent love a card like this, many players dont use it for the simple reason of the discard thing and the having mst and all....but thats what makes the game challenging, what, do u plan on using pot of greed for the rest of your life...blah...the art on this card is spectacular, the zombies, the guy mortified as if about to be eaten by zombies his expression, the blue swirls in the back...simply amazing..props to who ever thought of this card. as i said with card destruction, we need more cards that allow drawing and this is one of the top that takes the cake...when facing control this offeres great advantage, when using control this offers advantage, when facing anything ,when u see ur oppoent has 2 cards in and u have 5...odds are...ur gonna be the victor...unless...u know...but anyway, now the whole controversy with mirage, ive seen in tournys people having no monsters in the 1st hand and setting everythign and playing mirage mind u...in his hand was waboku, torrential, delinquent and other cards,,,people seem to run after tha chance to draw NOW...but...just wait...relax...we all know..ur hand will deplete on its own..by summoning, setting m/t and by other cards....then casually.,..play the man running from the zombies with trh red cloak, and set the typhoon...simple as that...draw 5 and swim ur way to victory....if u cant swim...walk through the desert...im sure you'll see a mirage along the way..

1.Graceful Charity

    Draw 3 cards from your deck, then discard any 2 cards from your hand.

This is the best card in the game of yugioh...no one can argue with me on this one, ive mentioned that i have a thing for drawing...and what isnt the best than drawing 3 cards from 1 40 card deck and then dumping, chaos food, tribute monsters, sinister serpent etc..etc..etc...for you players who are veterans out there...think back...remember the day when graceful wasnt limites....we were allowed to use 3....this my friend was chaos....decks had so much speed they didnt know what to do, exodia was the big man on campus, simply running 3-graceful chairty, 1-pot of greed, 3-jar of greed, 1-upstart goblin, 1 painful choice was enough to go through 20 cards in your deck and the 6 u 1st drew u were basically in if you had 2 draw cards in the 1st hand, graceful should be as well in every deck, who dosent like 3 new cards and discarding 2 old ones...hmm, ive seen to be at a loss of words again thinking about this card....ive been writing or typing for like an hour...ok, bottomline graceful is the best ever, its speed, drawing, an angel with a card in her hand....what more could one ask for....
