Ty Darling's Top 10 Lifesaving Cards

This is my first top 10 list in.....forever. All these cards have saved my butt in a duel so here they are.

#10.)Swords of Revealing Light

Well, I was dueling a dragon deck at one of my first tourneys . He played Lord of D. with two flutes and got out four dragons:Tyrant Dragon, Spear Dragon, Luster Dragon(LOD), and the infamous Blue Eyes. I had no monsters out and no hand. All I had was a face-down Negate Attack. When he attacked I used my trap to stall for time. He ended his turn. I literally had nothing on the field and no hand. Well, when I drew I was scared, but my handy swords showed up so I could stall for 3 turns. I drew raigeki later and it went downhill for him.

#9.)Torrential Tribute

This story is a bit shorter but just eventful. Not many people have faced a Gate Guardian deck as I have. I had Breaker the Magical Warrior in attack mode with no spell counter plus Torrential Tribute face down. His turn. He plays Painful Choice and I have to choose from 2 Kazejins, 2 Suijins, and 1 Sanga. I choose he keeps Kazejin. Next he plays Soul Release and removes 1 of each GG piece and two of his other monsters. Then he plays Dimension Fusion and brings back all five of the monsters he removed. Last Summons Gate Guardian by its effect. Thats when I play Torrential Tribute and all his work goes down the drain.

#8.)Tribe-Infecting Virus

This helped me when I was facing a Warrior Deck. My opponent had two Marauding Captains out and I couldn't touch him.All I had to do was throw down my TIV, declare Warrior and they were dead, ALL DEAd!!!

#7.)Spirit Reaper

I had to go against a typical Beatdown. She just kept slamming me with powerful monsters. I played a spirit reaper in defense mode and for what seemed like hours until I drew raigeki.

#6.)Airknight Parshath

Back in the days I used to run an Exodia deck and this baby helped me draw cards like crazy. Enough said.

#5.)Breaker the Magical Warrior

Man I love this guy! My opponent decided to hide behind some swords of revealing light.I simply summoned breaker, destroyed swords and attacked for the win. His lifepoints were low.

#4.)D.D. Warrior Lady

Everyone has faced Jinzo before. I'm no exception. If you don't know how to get rid of Jinzo it's simple. Send your D.D. Warrior Lady after him where she will most definately be slaughtered into tiny pieces by Jinzos terrible wrath. And as they clean her remains off the battlefield one of her decapitated arms will grab Jinzo by leg and pull him into the darkness. I am of course referring to her special ability to remove from play anyone who battles her.

#3.)Enemy Controller

Here's the scenario. You have a petty Sangan in facedown defense mode plus a facedown Enemy Controller. Your opponent has Jinzo.He activates Raigeki. For a second you think your screwed but then you remember Enemy Controller. You activate controller's second effect and sacrifice Sangan to control Jinzo. Your opponent destroys Jinzo due to Raigeki.With Sangan you get Yata and go for the lock. This also works with Witch of the B.W

#2.)Blowback Dragon

Alright you have 500 lifepoints left and a facedown Gear Golem. Your opponent has an End of Anubis out so can't use the Monster Reborn that's in your hand. You draw and hope for something good. You get Blowback Dragon. He's too weak you think, but its your only chance. You summon him And you his effect to get rid of End of Anubis. You attack for the win. This actually happened to me. If Blowback's effect had failed and not destroyed End of Anubis I'd have lost the whole tournament.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST

#1.)Kuriboh

Bet you weren't expecting the little fur ball were you? Well, here's the amazing story.Each of us had 8000 lifepoints. I had my Kycoo in attack mode with no traps. He had 3 scapegoat tokens and a Opticlops. On his turn he used Snatch Steal on my Kycoo and saced for Jinzo. He equipped United We Stand to Jinzo and activated Limiter Removal.That gave Jinzo 12,800 attack points. He attacked and said that was game. I showed him my furry little friend and I lost nothing that turn. He was so shocked he forgot to attack me with Opticlops! At the end his turn Jinzo went boom due to Limiter Removal.At my turn I reborned his Jinzo blah, blah, blah... and I won.
