My son and his buddies often come over to
play Yugioh. I hold mock tourneys and award them with custom original cards that
I Illustrate and mount on scrap cards. You can hardly tell the difference
at-a-glance. The cards are well balanced and the kids love em. Even
when I beat the finalist, they get one of these. Here are ten of
them.
1) Argith the Conjurer: *****
/Dark/Spellcaster/Effect / Atk: 2000 Def: 1500
As long as this card is
face-up, tribute costs for Ritual monsters a halved and "Fusion Gate" is
considered to be active unless a Field card is already in play.
2)
Shieldbreaker Maiden: **** /Earth/Warrior/Effect / Atk: 1850
Def: 1200
When battling, the effects of your opponent's monster's equip cards
are negated.
3) Battle Royale: Spell Card: Both players
receive 4,000 lifepoints. All monsters in the graveyard level 4 and below are
returned to their decks and reshuffled. (Restricted:1 card)

Fusion of Hinotoma Soul + Hinotoma Soul + Hinotoma Soul
Instead of
discarding the tribute cards, treat them as Equip cards for this monster. Each
equip card adds +400 to Atk. Once per each of your battlephases, instead of
attacking, you may tribute one Hinotoma Soul Equip card to inflict 500 points
direct damage to your opponent's lifepoints.
5) Darkwatch
Observer: *** /Dark/Fiend/Effect / Atk: 0 Def: 0
Any attack on this
monster is reflected back to you opponent's lifepoints. As long as this card is
face-up on the field, you cannot summon or set any new monsters.

Skull Chaser: *** /Dark/Fiend/Effect / Atk: 600 Def:

[FLIP] Select a Trap or Spell card from your Grave and return it to the
top of your deck.
7) Darkfire Commander: ******
/Fire/Pyro/Effect / Atk: 2300 Def: 1600
Dark Fire Soldiers on the field
receive +300 to Atk and Def. During your Main Phase 1, you may pay 500
lifepoints to Special Summon 1 Darkfire Soldier from your hand to the field in
face-up attack position.
8) Stealth Dragon: *****
/Wind/Dragon/Effect / Atk: 2200 Def: 1000
This card may be set in your
Magic/Trap zone. You may still set or summon a monster normally this turn. You
may activate this card only when your opponent attacks one of your
monsters. Tribute your monster that is being attacked and special summon
this monster in it's place. Effects that destroy magic or trap cards, destroy
this card when set in the magic/trap zone.
9) Brain-Eater
Zombie: **** /Earth/Zombie/Effect / Atk: 1600 Def: 1200
This card
gains an attack for every additional face-up Brain-eater Zombie on the
field.
10) Octo-Tron: ******** /Light/Machine/Effect /
Atk: 2700 Def: 2200
This card may reduce its Attack score by -700 and attack
twice or by -1000 and attack three times. This card may not attack
lifepoints directly.
