The Dark Dragon
Deck
Dragon-type monsters
are extremely powerful, especially if you know how to use them. A dragon's full
potential is opened with the use of powerful and planned-out combos. Here, you
will find the cards needed to make this powerful deck:
Monsters- 24
Hane-Hane: This is an effective flipping
monster. (COMBO: If you have a Blue-Eyes and a Hane-Hane, and your opponent puts
out a defense monster. If you suspect it's a Man-Eater bug, Wall of Illusion,
etc., Flip Hane-Hane and return the monster to his hand. Then laugh as a
whopping 3000 direct damage is done to your opponent!)
Baron of the Fiend Sword: A powerful
monster card. (COMBO: B.o.t.F.S. + Sword of dark destruction. Becomes 1950
attack.!)
Red-Eyes Black Dragon: A weak 2-offering
card, but not with combos! (COMBO: Red-Eyes + Dragon Treasure x2 + S. o. d. d. +
Mountain. Pardon my French, but OWWWWWW!)
Dark Magician: Alone he is victorious,
with + 400 unstoppable! (COMBO: D. Magician + S. o. d. d.)
Ryu-Kishin powered: A great non-offering
card. (COMBO: R. K. Powered + S. o. d. d. + Raigeki. If your opponent has either
a wall or 2000 or less L.P., this is the combo for you!)
Wall of Illusion: A Hane- Hane+. This
card's returning effect lasts until it's defeated! (COMBO: If a monster with
attack above 1850 attacks W. o. I., then FISSURE it!)
Skull Red Bird: A powerful winged-beast.
(COMBO: Skull Red Bird + Mountain. An obvious but awesome combo.)
Reaper of the Cards: You may not, but I
think that it's worth one offering for a 1380 attack. 1930 defense. monster that
destroys a trap as a flip. (COMBO: If Reaper o. t. C. chooses a Magic card,
then use Armed Ninja's destroy-magic effect!)
Armed Ninja x2: A weakling to some, a
master to others. It's flip: destroys one magic. (COMBO: Same as Reaper o. t.
C.'s except the other way round.)
Aqua Madoor: A SWEET defense. card that
deserves a lot of credit. (COMBO: Simple but sweet: START A WALL!)
Koumori Dragon: Another dragon, and that
means... Time to power-up! (COMBO: Koumori Dragon + Dragon treasure x1...
don't bother using two... + Mountain. Now your state-of-the-art 2000
non-offering attacker.)
La Jinn...: Long name, BIG attack power.
(COMBO: La Jinn + S. o. d. d. Your opponent should be shaking.)
Neo the Magic Swordsman: An almost-La
Jinn except light. Bummer... (COMBO: Neo's strong. He and La Jinn'll
ROCK!)
Mystic Clown: A good card (again).
(COMBO: M. C. + S. o. d. d.)
Spirit of the Harp: A mystical elf
except Fairy. Awwwwwww... (COMBO: Start or continue a wall. If a yami
is played, Use Armed Ninja to destroy it!)
Dragon Zombie: The good thing is, a S.
o. d. d. can't do a thing to it's defense! (Just look at it: 0). (COMBO:
Dragon Zombie + S. o. d. d.)
Mystical Elf: A great defender! (COMBO: Start, continue or finish a wall. Do NOT
use armed ninja this time if yami is played!)
Celtic Guardian: An average. (COMBO:
this card is good for attacking and worth offering for something
stronger.)
Mysterious Puppeteer: The ultimate
life-giver. (COMBO: When this card is face-up, you can use ultimate offering for
FREE!)
Green Phantom King: A good defender.
(COMBO: See Great White's combo.)
Winged Dragon...#1: Power-up time!
(COMBO: W.D.#1 + Mountain + one dragon treasure.)
Great White: A good attacker. (COMBO:
Since my deck can't power it up, try to offer it as quickly as
possible.)
Blue Eyes White Dragon: The BEST card in
my deck! (COMBO: Raigeki usage when Blue Eyes is out causes serious opponent
damage!!!)
Pretty Good Monsters, eh? Now, on to
Magic:
Magic: 15
Dian Keto the Cure Master: + 1000 LP...
What more can you say about this card? (COMBO: Simply gain 1000
LP!)
Fissure: This card will almost always
destroy a monster. (COMBO: If you use Stop Defense and it helps your
opponent-see STOP DEFENSE-, Fissure or Trap
Hole it.)
Stop Defense- This card can win you the
game if you use it right. (COMBO: See Fissure. CAUTION: If your
opponent puts out a defense monster he could be WAITING for you to use Stop
Defense. BE CAUTIOUS!!!)
Raigeki: This is really a card to be
remembered! (COMBO: Destroy a wall/ army and laugh as you do direct
damage!)
Change of Heart: This card basically
says control the only opponent monster stopping you from winning and either A.-
attack with it and win or B.- offer it. Either way, feel the joy of narrow
escape! (COMBO: What I just typed!)
Sword of Dark Destruction: Powers-up
Dragon Zombie, etc. (COMBO: Power up Dragon Zombie, etc. No big combo
here.)
Ookazi: Takes away 1/10th of your
opponent's LP. (COMBO: This card is like a really weak direct attack. Use it
before it's De-Spelled!)
Soul Exchange: A game-winner. (COMBO:
Same as Change of Heart except give up a monster and don't attack that
turn.)
Mountain: Powers-up a Majority of this
deck. (COMBO: Power up almost this entire deck.)
Monster Reborn: The BEST Magic card yet!
(COMBO: If you have a Blue Eyes in your hand, discard it then reborn
it!)
Dragon Treasure x2: Can help these
dragons overcome the more powerful monsters. (COMBO: Blue Eyes + Dragon Treasure
x2 + Mountain: 3800 attacker!)
Card Destruction: Can help A LOT!
(COMBO: If you have a crummy hand, use it!)
Pot of Greed: draw 2 cards. (COMBO: A
rhyme: When in need, use Pot of Greed!)
Remove Trap: VERY necessary! (COMBO:
Save until a Dragon Capture jar is played OR if your opponent's killing you with
an Ultimate Offering.)
Yami: Helps D. Magician a lot. (COMBO:
Use when you have a good Dark monster out.)
On to Traps We
go...
Traps: 5
Trap Hole: A Fissure +. (COMBO: See
Fissure.)
Just Desserts: Can do 2500 LP damage!!!
(COMBO: Use when the field is almost or is full.)
Waboku: Can save your duel. (COMBO: Use
when multiple monsters attack, not just a La Jinn.)
Ultimate Offering: Can be a serious + or
a SERIOUS -. (COMBO: Put out a monster using this card, then hope he doesn't use
it too!)
Acid Trap Hole: My favorite Trap.
(COMBO: Almost nothing can dodge an Acid Trap Hole. Use it when he has a
wall!)
