Hayabusha Knight Explained
I'm the Godzilla Guru, and I am surprised that just about all the people you
have reviewing the Yu-Gi-Oh cards did not fully understand Hayabusha Knight's
special effect. True, it does say that the monster can attack twice, but
it does NOT destroy your opponent in an overwhelming attack like they think it
can. It doesn't work like "Hayabusha Knight can attack twice and because
of that raise its attack power from 1000 to 2000!". It doesn't work like
that. I know of a monster in the Japanese game called the Tyrant Dragon
that has three effects, one of which is just like Hayabusha Knight's effect
(except that Tyrant Dragon is a level eight monster with an attack power of
2900). What I learned from reading Tyrant Dragon's effects and confirming
my hypothesis when I read Edo's review (on his website) is that after Tyrant
Dragon attacks and destroys a monster and there is a second monster on your
opponent's side of the field, Tyrant Dragon can attack again. That is what
Hayabusha Knight's effect means when it says this monster can attack twice
during your turn, not that his attack doubles when he attacks twice.
Just thought I should clear that up. If you want to confirm this for
yourself, I'll send you Edo's review of the Tyrant Dragon.
Pass this
information to the card reviewers, please. And keep up the good
work.
The Godzilla Guru
PS I sent the Tyrant Dragon review on a separate
email.
