Hello, it's me, Rock again, back with more corrections on tips^^
 
1. For "There is a use for griggle!": Read the card's text more carefully and you will notice the card says "when it is face up on the field", this is same for Ameba. Therefore, no, this combo won't give you +3000 life, it will only save your precious BEWD if you desire.
 
2. For "The do-alota-damage combo - Josh": ah, please stop posting some obvious combos that everyone can see and use. Shield and Sword + any defense monster = killer, that was a well known combo for a long time. The idea is nice, but giving that many equipment card is just needless.
 
3. For "good finisher using sword and shield and jigen bakudan": most people seem to get confused on this card and think it has a similar effect with the Time Wizard's damaging part, only that this time it's targetted to your opponent rather than yourself. However, it seems that not many people read their card carefully enough before think of comboes, and here is something I believe everyone should know about Jigen Bakuden.
Important Text on the card: " After this card is flipped, offer this card as a tribute during your STAND-BY PHASE..."
Yes, stand-by phase, since you can only flip the monster during your main phase, that simply says you have to wait another turn from your opponent before you can activate it's effect. And I believe most people shouldn't have a problem dealing with a 200/1000 monster no matter what.
 
4. For "Corrections for Sept 27 -Chet Li": Thank you for pointing that out in my corrections, and yes, I am aware and fully understand what you are saying. And yes, a player can definitly flip over a monster first, then tribute it for higher level monster later(I'm doing thing all the time during my duels). However, my original idea toward the tip was that it gave me the impression that the player did not flip over the monster in the first place, instread, they just went straight into tributing for high lvl monster, which I know will NOT activate flip effect.
 
5. For "Cannon Cretin - nataku27": You bet I'm thinking illegal comboes here, and it definitly didn't take me(or anyone else) to figure out the mistake here:
Direct quote: "Cause Spear Cretin's effect clearly says, "FLIP..."
Exactly as you said it yourself, FLIP. When you sacrifice FACE DOWN monsters either by tributing for higher level monsters, or card effect life Cannon Soldier or Catapult Turtule, any flip effect this face down monster has CANNOT be activated, because it was never flipped in the first place.
