Subject: Anti-GG Pieces - Dracon
This is a
strategy I made up while duelling this guy with a Kazejin on the field. It was
near the end of the game, and I had used up most (if not all) of my monster
removal cards, and had none in my hand. I drew and got the trap card Woboku. In
addition, I had a Summoned Skull on the field. Here's what I did that
turn.
I had set the Waboku. Next turn, I summoned a monster (Dark
Magician)1 in attack mode, and attacked
Kazejin. My opponent activated Kazejin's effect. To counter, I then activated
Waboku, meaning I lost no Life Points. I then attacked Kazejin with Summoned
Skull.
1 Note that
it is not necessary to summon a powerful monster such as Dark Magician. However,
I find that it works better than summoning a weaker monster, as your opponent
might find it a bit suspicious and NOT activate the effect. If you summon a
monster with an attack power higher than that of the GG piece, your opponent
will more likely activate the effect.
There are easier/better ways to get
rid of GG pieces, and I suggest you use this only if there are no
alternatives.
