Subject: How to beat the decks - By The
Kid
Every deck has a weakness, so I decided to
cover them. = D
BEATDOWN- Ah, the Beatdown deck. Around every corner lies
a Beatdown deck, and yes they have a weakness, most of them depend only on
strong monsters with no defense. When playing a Beatdown be sure to expect
plenty of Summoned Skulls, BEWD's, MEB's and of course WofBF,MOF and sometimes
MOD. To beat a Beatdown deck you'll need anything that takes cards off the
field. Some of those cards are Raigeki, Fissure, Trap Hole and possibly Dark
Hole. It doesn't hurt to add Shield and Sword, which will totally mess up a
Summoned Skull.
EXODIA- Exodia decks are the easiest decks to defend
against, add Card Destruction, The Forceful Sentry and some Robbin' Goblins and
you're and Exodia decker's worst nightmare! If you REALLY want to get on their
case, you can add a few White Magical Hats to your deck too.
TOON- These
decks are slowly becoming more popular. Toon decks somewhat relate to Exodia
decks, because destroy their toon world and it's all over. Having Raigeki, Magic
Jammer, Heavy Storm and Dark Hole helps to eliminate the basic toon deck right
now until Pharaoh's Servant comes out.
BURNER- Burner decks are annoying
and unsuccessfull in my opinion. They mainly depend on magic, so magic jammer is
a definate must. Any cards that stop magic, I can't remember what they are
though. There aren't many cards that stop magic right now, so Burners can get
annoying. Having cards that restore life points also help. A great card to fight
Burners is Fairy's Hand Mirror, I love this card, and the look on people's faces
when you bounce a Shield and Sword back on them or take their Axe of Despair and
attach it to your monster!
Note by wartortle32: you cant
redirect a shield and sword on the opponent as it doesn't specify a
target
These are the basic decks right now, and I can't think of the
other ones. When I do I'll send them in, if you have any
questions/crap/complaints, email me at
