Hello, my fellow duelists! I'm here to rant on Beatdown rants. I'm sick and tired of people telling me my deck sucks because it's 'unoriginal' 'requires no skill to play' and 'does nothing but kill things, no real strategy' ALL of those were direct quotes. First of all, you're right. My deck is unoriginal. Nearly EVERYONE out there has a beatdown deck. But let's face it. beatdowns use good cards. You have a choice of either (A) Playing a 7 Colored/La Jinn with a Malevolent Nuzzler for 2500 attack or (B) Playing a monster, tribute it to play Metal Fish, play the Magic Ruler field card AND a Star Boy to make it's attack comparable to my La Jinn. The only difference is that I did with two cards what took him twice as many cards to do. The only differense is that my deck is a lot easier to use than Philip's (the kid that used this Metal Fish thingee against my La Jinn)
Secondly, people say my deck requires no skill to play. What skill?! There is absolutely no skill involved in Yu-Gi-Oh. The game is hinged ENTIRELY on drawing cards. If you draw a bad hand, no amount of 'skill' is going to save you! This particular game (unlike MTG) is all about getting good cards, and loading your deck with them.
And finally, there is no strategy to my deck and all it does is kill things. EXACTLY. Beatdown decks kill things. You play something against me and I will kill it! It will die and I will win! ME UG! ME SMASH! ME DESTROY! AAARRGGGHH!!!
My deck has yet to lose (record: 12-0-0) Of course, soon Pharoahs Servant will be legal in tournaments soon. Then; beatdowns will be minimal. Ug guarantee it.
