Within this combo you need a Cannon Soldier (capable of tributing monsters on own field for 500pts Direct hit) and 3 Giant Germs (once in Graveyard they inflict 500 pts direct damage). Set you Cannon Soldier on the field and keep it there, then place down 1 Giant Germ, then use Cannon Soldier to tribute it. Since Cannon Soldier makes it 500 pts direct damage and Giant Germ directs 500 pts direct damage, then it is 1000 pts direct damage.  As a result of launching Giant Germ you can search for another Germ in you Deck and special summon it.  As a result launch all 3 Giant Germs in one turn resulting in 3000 pts direct damage.
