Alright, here are some rules people are skrewing up, and the people who correct tips also skrew up. Firstly Ultimate Offering CAN be used by both players, it says on the card AND on upperdeck's web page. My second point is not debated on pojo's page but it is where I duel. When a face-down card, say, magician of faith card, is destroyed by a magic card like dark hole, its affect IS activated! Where is my proof you ask, the rulebook states (not exact wording) that a flip effect is activated when a card is flipped up by an attack, magic card, or other affect. You say dark hole doesn't flip it up, but it is also in the rulebook that cards must be face up in the graveyardm therefore you would be cheating placing a face down card in the grave. Also, a little cheap trick, set tribute monsters in face down defence, you still have to pay, i know that, however they cannot be trap holed, simply wait for your opponent to attack it (unless its a skull :-(  ) and then move it to the attack, without fear of the hole. finally, the rulebook states that you CAN play a monster face up in defence mode, you just cant flip summon a card and keep it in defence.
