Share the Pain does not work like that. First off you cannot summon monsters on the opponent's turn. Second you have to realize why would Upper Deck name the card Share the Pain if it did something good. Share the Pain gives each player the choice of a monster under his or her control to offer as tribute. There is Tribute which refers to having to sacrifice monster(s) on the field to Summon or Set higher level monsters from the hand to the field. Then there is tribute which requires a sacrifice for an effect monster, magic, or trap card to work. (Catapult Turtle/Share the Pain/ Horn of Heaven are an example of each type of card)

Hopefully you remember this as well as tell any of your friends the correct use of Share the Pain so you never get into any arguments with any of them or even get corrected at a YuGiOh tournament.
