Lately I have been getting increasingly upset over these 'staple'
cards, ones that are supposed to be in every deck. The list is
overwhelming and the sick part is everyone follows it, Hell even I do to
some extent you can't help it there good cards, yet some people go out of
control and place in every one. I have made a list of what I have found to be
called staple cards.
Monsters-(18)
-La Jinn(3)
-7 Colored Fish(3)
-Summon Skull(3)
-Man-eater Bug(2)
-Sangan(2)
-Witch of the Black Forest(2)
-Magician of Faith(3)
Magic-(13)
-Change of Heart
-Dark Hole
-Monster Reborn
-Swords Of Revealing Light(2)
-Pot of Greed
-Axe of Despair(3)
-Confiscation(3)
-Raigeki
Traps-(4)
-Trap Hole(3)
-Mirror Force
Now of course you are NEVER supposed to play single cards, which is
a very good point so I made most three unless restricted. Now that together is
35 Cards, meaning you can put in five cards if you want to make a nice
combo!!Yea!!Right!!!Because you must also have 40 Cards so only five, if your
have fourty one then OH NO your gonna get murdered in a duel!! I really don't
know why I am writing this , maybe its because some people position decks around
this exactly and then like add a few dark elfs and maybe a Wall of Illusion. I
personally use most of these cards yet some I don't because i don't think I need
them such as Sangan and Witch or Confiscation and Axe, also Magician I don't
use. I think they are so many other kool combos and people who tell you to
put these in your deck should only be advice not a mandate. All I am saying si
watch out when you say it's a deck staple (even though most of the cards they
say are game breaking) Because sooner or later in later sets people will be
running around with a 40 card staple deck, with each vcard in it being a staple,
it's just not fun liek that. whatever, have a nice day.
