VENOM : Past and
present
Dear readers, dear, dear readers, i regret to inform you
that upon entering the pojo forums for the first time that someone already used
VENOM as a name!!! Now this person last time i checked only sent two articles so
he's quite new. I tell u this ofcourse because if u see , talk to or read one of
his articles in the forums thinking it is mine, it is not. i have to go by the
name force of VENOM so there i am if your looking. for me there.Just in case
that caused any confusion.
Ok, today i talk to u about a lovely
history lesson. Now you know how history repeats itself, sure it might be more
advanced but it plays out the same way in the end anyway doesnt it?yeah well i
think histor can repeat now. Notice how i said can repeat itself.
It has the potential to.
Field Magics
Charming arent
they? No u dont think so? 'not worth the magic and trap spa....'you find
yourself saying. Then you stop half way through. Then you realise. Then it dawns
on you that field magics have a specific space on the field.Theyre not included
in the 5 magic and trap limit. But then you try to back yourself up.'Field
magics are easy MST bait.'You smile smugly, but then u see me smiling back.
i say 'bait. exactly. theyre a waste of a MST, in most peoples opinion, so
they'll stay there.'.You adjust your collar. You look around you and sneer
'both players get the boost'. I continue to smile.' not in a themed
deck'i continue , 'In a specific theme deck , specific types of monsters
get the boost'
'your right 'you cry as you fall to the
ground.
Ok , ok enough drama. Sorry to scare you with all of that
evil sounding banter but i wanted to use some serious material for once.
Basically what im trying to say is that if you use a field magic card and run a
theme deck that isnt commonly used then all of your monsters get a stat
increase while your opponent gets hammered as his 1900 cant stack up against
your 2100's.
Its a mild boost, but it can be effective. it doesnt take up
valuable m/t space on the field and is MST bait. the only downside : a
horrible top deck.
Traps
Jinzo owns traps, everyone owns
Jinzo, but every one owns traps.Trap cards used to be the most deadly of all
cards but with the release of Jinzo, the best card in the game IMO, Traps died
down till only the greatest were left. Anouther history lesson but
worthwhile for this article. Now i say ehem...wait for it...'SCREW
JINZO!!!!'Jinzo is one card in a deck of 40. hes tribute monster also. hard
to summon apparently. hes witchable you all cry. witch is one card in 40! and
whos to say you wont pick up Jinzo before witch? i say you shouldnt not use
traps because of jinzo. Sure jinzo's ace, but why not use other powerful
traps, such as magic cylinder, or torrential tribute?theyre game
winning!!!!
And finally : Equip magics
Now equip magics
are never used anymore. too dangerous . not worth it, well i
think they might be. Afew years ago in a duel world not really that far away
equip magics were commonly used.
Magic ruler invented good ones.i think the
best was malvolent nuzzler. its great. you give anything a 700 attack boost.
jinzo can kill CED. Archfiend soldier can kill jinzo. Dark necrofears attack is
higher than its defense for once! its all good. and when its derstroyed, because
nothing lasts forever, you can pay a mere 500 lp to use it again. this that you
dont need to pay. its optional.Great innit!!!ofcourse equips arent for everyone,
but ithink that maybe the ones that give huge attack boosts , or the ones that
can be reused deserve a look in.
