Subject: Writing a YuGiOh article,
based on modified cards.
Hello, I'm a fan of your site, and I
wanted to inform you that I had been in the process of creating my own mini
article of sorts, based on the cards that were modified when released in the
U.S. (Gemini Elf, for example) I've found pictures of the original Japanese
cards, I have many so far, and I'm in the process of finding more. I wanted to
know, a webmaster would be willing to approve my article, and post it on your
site? I would be sending pictures as well, for each modified card I found. Here
is a list of the cards that Upper Deck has modified, to make more
"child-friendly."
For Nudity/Revealing Purposes:
Goddess of
Whim
Gemini Elf
Water Omotics
Enchanting Mermaid
Succubus
Knight
Red Archery Girl
Invader of the Throne
Protecter of the
Throne
Cure Mermaid
Sonic Maid
Thunder Nyan Nyan
Otohime
Soul
Release
Dian Keto the Cure Master
I have also noticed that
several Japanese cards have had the halo's on their heads removed in their
English duplicate.
Removed Halo's:
Wingweaver
Graceful
Charity
Soul of Purity and Light
Misc.
Injection Fairy
Lily
Injection Fairy's little red cross' have been removed, presumabley
because they closely resemble the logo trademarked by the red cross, which is
understandable.
I decided to comprise a list of modified cards, because
I'm a collector of most female monsters, and some of the pictures started to
look a tad bit odd to me. Then I saw your poll about the Gemini Elf
modification, and I realized that Upper Deck has their work cut out for them, in
trying to make these cards more G rated. I'm currently in the proccess of
finding more.
Thank you for your time, and please tell me what you
think!
