Cheap water deck - kumar
Clifftrapremover here once again to now get the highs and lows on
some popular deck types.
Water: The modern water runs gagagigo’s,
bugroths, Giga gagagigo, legendary fishermen, Orcas, and lavia dragons.
Legendary Ocean is REQUIRED. The main purpose is to get those blasted 5 star
monsters on the field quick. First the player starts with an early legendary
ocean and ether Giga gagagigo, legendary fishermen, and Orcas or go the 4 star
way. That is get a gagaio or bugroth or 7 colored fish out, hopefully with the
ocean. (this is where anther deck can be built, a gbind water deck. The ocean +
gagagigo or bugroth will make them 3 stars which is prime to get direct attacks
in. A 2050 3 stars is really good also.) The duelist then uses these combos to
get some strong monsters on the field and quickly goes in for the kill. The
icing on the cake is lavia dragon. Use him to cripple your opponent’s field or
just go in for the kill. With ocean his is one of the best 1-sac monsters in the
game. The some people might want to use more Orcas. This is not a strategy for
some with a low income. To run this you must have 3 Orcas, the cannon ball, and
the Orcas. While this is fun these decks flop in the factor that if the Orca is
not out on the field the deck will usually loose. Other wise, the Orcas deck use
the same monsters like gagagigo. Warning: you really want to protect your Magic
and traps. Running magic jammer ( or magic drain) will give you some protection
. Be afraid of MST.
Pros- great at getting high monsters out quick.
When used correctly it can be unstoppable. It is hard to beat 3 or 4 2300 – 2600
attack monsters in a row, which can easily happen in this ddeck. Even when the
deck is slowing down tornado wall can protect you for a few turns until you get
back on your feet. Now with a gbind version. With bugroths doing 1700 dmg often
it is very painful. That combo alone is very good but with 2050 mons attacking
it gets much better.
Cons – A lack of monsters ruins this deck. With a
limited supply of aqua mons and many of them being 5 stared or above and really
only coming out when ocean is out on the playing field. Now we get to the ocean.
If u don’t draw it within 5 turns the duel is over for most likely. Even when
you get it out the number of MST’s that are floating around can knock it out
before u can use it. That can render around 50% of your deck useless. In the
Gbind situation Jinzo and msts will end you. Bugroth without ocean is useless
and will become a nice way to take damg. TO TAKE THIS DECK OUT USE MAGIC/TRAP
DISTRUCTION. The only other fact is save those MSTS on oceans and nor just on
any card on the field.
Conclusion: This deck sure is
powerful. With right combos the strong monsters never stop flowing. But it is
simple enough to stop. Take out the ocean (the gbind if needed) and kill the
gagio w/ a simple 1900. It is very build able and usable but I don’t promise
you to win any tournaments.
Well that’ll do it for
this deck. Remember this deck is for people with low incomes. If you have the
money you can add the lavia dragon and legendary fisherman. If you have any
ideas to add then email me. Disagree email me and tell me why. PS: I would love
it if people would send me deck idea.
THESE DECKS SHOULD HAVE ALL THE BASIC STAPLES IN
THEM TO MAKE THEM BETTER BUT WILL STILL WORK FINE WITHOUT THEM IN CASUAL PLAY.
(Nothing is guaranteed to work in tournaments.)
