Can the
strategy of Yu-Gi-Oh be a limited subject?
The answer could be seen both
ways. Looking at your
main types of decks (burner, beatdown, hand
disruption)
we find that strategies are hard to find for cards that
actually
work together. I'm not talking about what cards are good
with
these decks. I am talking about cards that work together
to provide mass
effects. An example are Gravekeepers. They
work very well together because
each card provides help for the
other. This is different though for these
three main deck types
because they don't have a main type of monster in
thier
decks. Beatdown is the deck most people use now. This is
because it
probably requires the least strategy. I'm not saying
that it's a bad idea. In
fact, it is the deck type that most cards
have been made for. This makes them
alot more playable, so you
can't really blame people for using it. Strategy
isn't very big in
beatdown decks. This is a reason why strategy boundaries
are
questioned. The only decks you see are these (primarily).
Hand
disruption and burner are a little harder to build (very rare
cards). These
can be even more effective than beatdown if
you assemble and play your cards
correctly. Not many
cards have been made that work together for these cards
either.
If we want to use more strategy we might just have to wait for
new
cards to come out.

hate-mail I will not hesitate
to send it back. (you'll probably send it
because I told you not
to).
