Newbies vs n00bs - Shuriken
Hey guys, Shuriken here again with another
article, this time explaining the beginners of the game, the newbies and the
n00bs. Just so everyone knows, these two terms mean completely different things,
even though they almost sound the same. First....the Newbie
Newbie
- Person that has just started the game, and is cool with the experience players
telling them the rules
The newbie would be the person that want to
know how to play. These are the people you help by giving them some rares you
don't want or helping them fix their deck up with your extra commons. They will
always be grateful, and, for the guys, always help the newbie girls that are
around your age ^^. The newbie will usually thank you every tournament
that you are at, and usually include you in their props and slops for tourney
reports.
Now, the n00bs, the evil side of the new
players
n00b - the snobby person that thinks they are the best
already and they make up their own rules and refuse to listen to the experienced
player
These are the people that will get you very angry. You will
want to be completely ruthless while dueling them, and crush their spirits, so
they might turn into newbies, then they will be nice. You could try to be nice
to them, but they will usually shove you away, so you need to make your move on
the dueling field. And no worries about losing, they are so over-confident, and
they don't know the rules, you could disqualify them easily.
OK
above all, remember we were all newbies or n00bs, god forbid, at one time, and
we should do our best to help those less experienced, who knows, you could find
some good rivals and friends, which leading to much more challenging and fun
duels. ^^
