Hi everybody. This is Mehman, writing in about the Exclusive Movie Packs.

Before you go order a ton of these frickin' things, take note:
THEY CONTAIN THE SAME 8 CARDS IN EVERY PACK!!!!
Right, now thats over with, I can talk about the cards.

In every pack you get three Ultra Rare Promo cards: Sphinx Teilia (spelling?), Andro Sphinx and Theinen the Great Sphinx. Contrary to what you may first think when reading the effects of these cards, YOU DO NOT NEED PYRAMID OF LIGHT to Summon them! They CAN be normal Summoned by offering 3 monsters (I think - maybe 2) as a Tribute. Once you have Sphinx Teilia and Andro Sphinx on the field, if they are BOTH destroyed at the SAME time you can Summon Theinen from your deck/hand.

Building a 'Sphinx' deck
You'll need a few cards in there that let you destroy both Sphinxes at the same time, and also you need a way of getting enough monsters on the field (recursion, Ultimate Offering). I built a deck around the three Sphinxes this morning and these are a few helpful cards to include:

Ultimate Offering - To get enough monsters on the field for the first 2 Sphinxes.
Two Pronged Attack - Don't suddenly stop reading, TPA is a vital card in this deck as it lets you destroy Andro/Teilia simultaneously to summon Theinen AND destroy one of your opponents monsters too!
Bubonic Vermin - Stop laughing, if you can keep one face-down with out it being destroyed (set a Waboku) then it thins the deck and serves as Sphinx food.
Some high DEF monsters - GSOS, Battle Footballer, Prickle Fairy etc. The effect of these doesn't have to fit in with the deck as long as they stay on the field.
Hysteric Fairy - Sac your 2 Sphinxes, gain 1000LP, Special Summon the most powerful thing in the game. Sound good?

And thats how Mehman, the duelist that knows everything about the game but doesn't have many cards, made a Sphinx deck with the crap he has in his card box.

Sphinx deck any good? Have I made a mistake? Do 10 Star monsters require 3 sacs or 2? E-mail me - innocentifamily@cwctv.net
