Subject: Outside of the Box- Rob who loves TER

I am really starting to get bored with Yugioh. Everyone plays the same things. Yata this, Vampire Lord that, Jinzo here, Gemini there, its all getting pretty repetitive. How the hell is Yugioh suppose to develop into a good game if everyone plays the same deck?

Granted Raigeki, Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, etc. are staples that should be in every deck. You would just suck if you didn't have a Monster Reborn, I'm sorry. If you don't have a Reborn by now, just give up :)

Whatever happened to ingenuity and originality? Are we just to follow the examples provided before us? Is Yugioh destined to become a game the revolves around who can draw the best cards the fastest? I won't allow such a thing to happen!!!!

So I've tried to find ways that stray from the meta. Like for example, running a Canceller instead of a Jinzo in a control deck, seeing as most decks are magic heavy. Or playing weird speed cards like Magical Merchant and having a recursion deck. There are so many cards out there just waiting to be abused, but no one abuses them!!!

My last tip revolved around Metamorphosis and TER, and I found that the deck I built from them went pretty well against the average beatdown, and even fought valiantly against hand d. People applauded me for my ingenuity.

I was happy.

Now here are some cards that I recommend that you should tinker around with:

Book of Moon- Very versatile, though it may not seem like much. Besides reusing obsolete flip effects, I used it as a Jinzo killer before, but now with Vampire Lord out, it now has another purpose. Screws Yata, or at leasts negates an attack for a turn. In my TER deck, I use it to turn my TER down, unleash a savage attack with my other monsters, and then after I'd flip TER and keep control of the board.

Spell Canceller- Wow. With a TER or a Gravity Bind, CONTROL/OWNAGE. Most people don't play Exiled anymore, with the popularity of DD Warrior Lady.

Alls you gots to worries abouts is TIV and possibly a forced Torrential.

Mirror Force, bah.

level 4 2000+ Defense monsters- You have no idea how devastating it is to go against a beatdown with babies like these. Its plain and simple board control. Sure Raigeki, Dark Hole, Nobleman, Samsuke etc. own these cards, but simple monster removal owns any monster. Even your axed Gemini. I prefer 2000+ defenders than spirit reapers because you don't have to worry about tramplers. Just sucks when they equip there bad boys with equips :( Then you play mirror force :)

Ojama Trio- I really go to town with this card. Ooh how I love them!! First turn, I set one card f/d. I play Ground Collaspe on your one and two. Pass.

Your draw phase, ojamas on three, four, and five.

Fun, fun, fun. Only Dark hole, equips, etc. will save you from my inaba white rabbits. Fwahahahahhahahahhaha!!! MST on GC= uhhhh. Protect that bad mofo with countering traps.

Tsukuyomi- Similar to Book of moon, but it sacrifices versatility for multiple uses. Utterly savage with TER.
