If you chose…
A) Fight him
head-on.
Your deck style is Beat Down (High attack
monsters attacking your opponent head-on trying to bring their life points down
to 0). When you fight the guy head-on, you are doing what most guys do in a
fight situation. In a card game situation most people, mostly beginners, use
Beat Down decks because that’s how they learned to duel and that’s the style
they are most acquainted with.
B) Back him in to a
corner and kick the snot out of him.
Your deck style is either
Hand Destruction (Using cards that limit the number of cards in your
opponent’s hand) or Deck Destruction (Using cards that limit the number
of cards in your opponent’s deck forcing him to deck-out). In a card game
situation, you are backing him into a corner by limiting his options through the
destruction your cards are causing. Finally, if using Hand Destruction, you kick
the snot out him by using a card called Yata-Garasu (if you don’t know what it
is, look it up!).
C) Grab anything you can find off
the ground and throw it at him from a distance.
Your deck style
is Direct Damage (a.k.a. Burn) (Using cards that deal damage directly to
you opponent). This is a fight situation you usually would use on a rabid dog
instead of a person, but in a card game situation it works just as well. You use
cards like Ceasefire, Lava Golem, and Tremendous Fire to bring your opponent’s
points down to 0. This style is usually hard to counter and could wear your
opponent down before the can use their good cards.
D)
Get a gang of weaklings and have them attack him head-on or jump him from
behind.
Your deck style is either Weenie Rush (Level 3
and/or lower monsters that act as a Beat Down deck) or Human-Wave (Normal
Level 2 and/or lower monsters who use certain cards to eliminate an opponents
forces). Both these styles are kind of like having an army of ants bring down a
giant beetle. Weenie Rush uses Gravity Bind to block big monsters while the
lower level ones move in. Human-Wave uses cards like Enchanting Fitting Room,
Sword of Soul-Eating, and The Law of The Normal to eliminate an opponent’s
forces. Then they move in and attack.
E) Run, find an
adult or guidance teacher, tell them about the fight, and hope they can resolve
it for you.
Your deck style is Exodia (Getting the 5
Exodia pieces from your deck into your hand while using cards to speed up this
process). Let’s be honest, it’s okay to get someone to help you out when you’re
in a fight situation like this if you don’t want to get your hands dirty. The
only problem is whether you’ll be able to get to that person before the guy your
fighting chases you down and stomps the snot out of you. In a card game
situation you are running from the battle, trying to get Exodia to win the game
for you. But you might not be able to accomplish this task before your opponent
beats your Life Points to 0. Use cards like Pot of Greed to draw cards for you,
cards like Painful Choice to limit the other 35 cards in your deck, leaving the
Exodia pieces making them easier to draw, and cards like Sangan and Witch of the
Black Forest to get the pieces from your deck into your
hand.
F) Fight back while countering whatever move he
throws at you and striking when his guard is down.
Your deck
style is Control (Using cards that controls the flow of the battle
thereby putting the game in your favor). This type of deck is a combination of
Hand Destruction and Beat Down. In a card game situation, this deck type is used
most often because of its successfulness and it’s popularity. This deck type
let’s control the battle almost entirely by using certain cards to help you get
your way. Use cards like Jinzo and Imperial Order to stop your opponent from
gaining control of the battle. You should also use cards like Sangan and Witch
of the Black Forest to get whatever monsters you need to get your way. Painful
Choice, Yata-Garasu, and any staple cards are necessary in a Control
deck.
G) Kick him in the groin and beat him while
he’s down.
**Some people may not agree with what I am about to
say, but I have freedom of speech and I choose to use and abuse that
right**
Your deck type is Chaos (Using 2 extremely strong cards:
Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning and Chaos Emperor Dragon
– Envoy of the End to help you win). The reason I compare this to a groin
shot is because some people (not just me) view this deck type as being cheap or
a cheap shot. If you do decide to make a Chaos deck you need more than just the
two cards stated above. You also need an assortment of Light and Dark
Attribute monsters that summon these monsters. For your Light monsters you
should use cards like Shining Angel, Reflect Bounder, and D. D. Warrior Lady.
And for your Dark monsters use cards like Mystic Tomato, Breaker the Magical
Warrior, Jinzo, and D. D. Scout Plane. These Light and Dark monsters need to be
in your graveyard in order to summon the 2 Envoys so you should also use Painful
Choice to make them easier to summon.
H) Try a new
fighting style that is original and/or unheard of by others.
Your
deck style is as of right now undecided. Over the past few years,
people have tried new and original deck types that they think no one has thought
of that might be able to destroy other deck types and win tournaments easily.
Sometimes these new deck types catch on and become used by others. Eventually,
if they build enough popularity, they become decks like Control, Chaos, and
Exodia. Sometimes when this happens, some of the cards in that deck might become
limited to 1 per deck (cough JINZO cough), but this rarely happens. The reason
why your deck type is undecided is because you have to decide what kind of deck
you want to create. You have to decide how you’re going to fight a guy when you
get in a fight. I don’t recommend beginners try to make there own decks with an
ample amount of knowledge about this card game. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you
how to make your deck type. You have to make it. Not only that, but you must
test it, improve it, and perfect it before this type joins the rank of the most
popular.
Thank you for taking this test! If you have any
