Four Elements to Every Duel-
A lonely Prophet
Hello duelist who is reading my tip
right now. This is A lonely Prophet here, explaining the four elements (not like
wind or fire) that determine the winner of every duel. Over the years that I
have played this game I have thought I could break the game down into easily
understandable components. Now, I have finally done that. Most people (not all)
think that luck and skill are the only things that contribute to a duel, anyone
who thinks that is gravely mistaken. Luck, Skill, Cards, and Situation are the
four elements that will determine the winner.
Luck- Luck is a coin flip, dice
roll, random guess, the drawing of a card, or the shuffling of your deck. Luck
is also picking the pack you buy at random. Whether or not you have a card shop
near you. And what your financial situation maybe. Coin flips, die rolls,
guessing, drawing, shuffling, and buying a random pack, can be determined by
what your odds are. Now the other two are sheer luck, if someone decides to open
up a card shop near you, and what you, or your parents financial situation may
be.
Skill- Skill is how you build your deck, the knowledge you have gathered
as a duelist, knowing the card effects, and how you deal with your opponent.
Building your deck is a key essential to winning. Building also has much to do
with luck and cards. All elements intertwine in one way or another. Knowledge is
just what you've learned from all the duels you've been in. Knowing card effects
is exactly related on how knowledge works. And dealing with the opposition is
how you play your cards and expect to win.
Cards- Cards is simply what cards
you have availble to you. Whether they are your friends cards, family's, or
yours if you can use them then they apply here.
Situation- Situation is very
hard to describe. Situation is the location, and stipulations of a duel. Dueling
in an uncomfortable spot makes it harder to win. Dueling when you have to go
soon may make it harder. Dueling with something on the line makes you play
better. All these are applied to the situation element.
Thanks for the time.
I hoped you enjoyed my article. Did you like it? Did you hate it? Do you think I
