So, you're in a duel and your opponent has been crushing you throughout the duel. Is it time to resign? It's never time to resign. Here are a few cards that give you a fighting chance.
1. Last Turn:
There are an incredible amount of instant win combos, so I won't list them all, but your best bet is Jowgen the Spiritualist, a Gate Guardian part, or Dark Necrofear.
2. Self- Destruct Button:
This card was just released in the Invasion of Chaos set. Basically, if your opponent has 7000 or more additional Life points then you have, both players Life points become zero-an automatic DRAW.
3. Cards that gain Life Points:
Isn't it funny when an opponent attacks for the kill to discover that your Life Points are barely scratched? A few good cards that raise Life points are Enchanted Javelin, Numinous Healer, Solemn Wishes, Nimble Momongo, and Nutrient Z.
4. Cards that negate attacks:
There are a lot of these, but the best are probably Mirror Force, Dark Mirror Force, Fairy Box, Waboku, Negate Attack, and Magic Cylinder.
5. Cards with high defense:
If you can set up an unbreakable wall, you might have time to get back into the game. Defensive monsters include Battle Footballer, Labyrinth Wall, Millenium Shield, Mystical Elf, Serpentine Princess, etc.
I hope these suggestions were helpful. If you have any questions, rants, or you disagree with my assesment, send me, David Bencuya, an e-mail at davidbencuya@bellsouth.net
