I've been reading the tourney reports on Pojo, and frankly, I have not seen a deck that does not run the Big 3: Confiscaton, Forceful Sentry, and Delinquent Duo. This is kind of wierd, because earlier on (before pretty much LOD) not very many people ran them. Hand disruption wasn't mainstream. It was all about power, about beatdown and whatnot.
Now, though, things have changed. All I ever see is hand disruption.
Personally, I run hand disruption, but it's not just hand disruption. It's also alot of control in it too. But what i'm saying is that alot of people just throw them in there, despite their deck.
I saw a person yesterday who had nothing but beatdown cards in their deck--that's it, nothing but beatdown--except for the big 3. They have no place in that kind of deck--believe me, I know. Beatdown consits of big, beefy monsters (normally nothing but 4 star 1900) and power-ups. Not three cards that are taking up space in your deck.
I guess what i'm saying is that the big 3 only go in certain type of decks--if you run it in a beatdown deck, chances are that they'll just get back up to 5 cards anyway, where as in control, your Dons still have a chance to bring them down to 1 or 2.
I know alot of you won't agree with me, but I'd like to hear your arguments. E-mail me at Anteaus44@aol.com and tell me what you think. Thanx for reading!
