I've been dueling for a long time now and I have realized that in a match, the cards aren't as important as the duelists. This may sound obvious, but here is my tip. If your opponent's friends or even just other people are watching your duel, embarass him. Don't always do the most effective move if you have a chance to humiliate your opponent. This may sound cruel, but after suffering three turns of Axe weilding Kuriboh attacks, your opponent's moral will fall extremely low and make him do stupid moves no well minded duelists would normally do. Better yet defeat their strongest monster with a Scapegoat, or better yet finish them off with a Scapegoat, and tell them its the pink one. This might sound pointless, but if you duel this person again, they are sure to concentrate on avoiding the same embarrassment rather than your strong monsters. I find that beatdown decks with a lot of equip cards are perfect for catching you opponent off-gaurd. And if all else fails you get the pleasure of saying, " I equip my Kuriboh with, an Axe, another Axe, United we Stand, Mage Power, and Twin Swords of Flashing Light- Tryce.

KURIBOH KILL THE BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON!!!"
