Hi everyone!
First things
first: POJO RULZ!!
Now... My game style is to have a bunch of
backup plans with cards that can convine in more that one way to support a
couple of main plans. The idea is to (almost) always have something in store
for ur opponent... is fun to look at their face when they thought they just
figured out your strategy and you come up with something else (^_^).
Really, relying on 3 or 4 cards just isn't for me...
Now to the
point:
I recently made an Archfiend's deck, so of course, I came
up with a backup plan. The idea is to resolve the situation when you don't get
any of the three PANDEMONIUM's (or for some reason you don't get to have one
on the field) and the cost of your monsters is draining you to the grave,
specially when they've done some damage already. At some point of the duel
your main problem will be the payment as your opponent just sits to watch you
die slowly by your own (expensive) guys!. You may be kickin' his liver out,
then he/she finishes his/her turn... you draw you card... and lose. Some
SALOMON'S LAWBOOK's may be helpful, some times not good enough (Again... if
you don't get to kill... finish turn, draw card, lose :P )
The
cutest solution I came up with was turning your main disadvantage to your
favor. The facts are that you know how much LP you're loosing each turn, thus
you can predict when you'll get your very LAST TURN ( <---
!!!)
Exactly! the mainly underrated card LAST TURN can be quite a
game-ender (nahhhh, really <:D !? ). The unavoidable payment can get you to
the slim 1000 or less range to use LAST TURN, wich normally is the hard part
of the card; and then you can use any of the LT strategies, including my
favorite with JOWEN (wich BTW is 'Sanganable' and
'Witchable').
Again, the face on you're oponents when they see
JOWEN next to your Archfiends is priceless... only surpassed by the look on
their faces when you activate LT.
As I said before, this is a
BACKUP PLAN, since it is kind of situational, but at least U have one more
hope in case the payment becomes a problem. You just need a couple of extra
cards on your deck, and can really save you on those situations when the
virtual winner actually loses... believe me those who doubt... it IS
frustrating.
Hope you liked this tip and if you get the chance,
you should try it once in a while ;) !
P.S.: Any comments
(agreeing or disagreeing), specially to improve this idea, will be really
appreciated to aerofigther@hotmail.com
