Hey it's my first time writing a tip so don't hate me, anyways my tip is about general rules when playing yugioh.

Usually everybody has approx 7 or more traps in a deck and it's not a good idea to set more then two or more spells and traps unless you have a plan like you set imperial order, trap hole, and waboku. I say set max two traps at a time i think you know how it feels when you set 3 good traps like mirror force call of the haunted and get sweeped with a duster and not being able to chain to anything ,and don't summon any more monsters if you already have two on the field (unlikely) because being raigekied or dark holed or even torrential tributed hurts when that many mons are on your side of the field. Lastly check what you have before resolving a cards effect one time i had snatch and jinzo in my hand and a magic drain set and he played forceful and i forgot i had magic drain and he saw my hand screwing me over and resuling in a loss for me.

SUMMARY
-don't set more than two traps unless you chain them like if you set drop off and waboku both being able to activate is good but not like call and M-force nothing to protect traps

- dont' summon any more mons if you already have 2 on the field unless you have it under control example jinzo and gemini on field, or your going rush your opponent safely

-check all your cards and possible things to activate when in an effect of a card and think of all possible situations when attacking your opponent example: gemini and don on field you have 2000 life left and your opponent has one trap change gemini to defence and attack don because magic cylinder will almost kill you and mirrorforce is always a threat
