Hey guys, Shuriken here again with my next
tip. If u didn't get it from my first tip, I'm sick of cookie-cutter decks and
I want people to be more original. The point of the game is to have fun not to
win. I'm sure there are plenty of you out there that are running a CC deck
when you would rather run something else. Well I have a short list of
different deck ideas that you might try sometime.
1.
Trample
This archetype focuses on cards that can trample. You would prolly
want to use cards like Spear Dragon, Airknight Parshath, Dark Driceratops,
even Gyaku Gire Panda. You could also use Windstorm of Etaqua to switch the
opponents beatdown mons into defense mode. Believe me, this deck is a GAF's
worst nightmare. Deck works wonders especially against beatdowns because most
of the mons have low defense.
2. Stall
This archetype focuses
on stalling for a purpose. You could use Final Countdown, or just make the
opponents unable to attack and slip under with direct attackers. Stall deck
would usually run Gravity Bind, Messenger of Peace, some sort of life gain,
Final Countdown/Direct attackers, and Fiber Jar. This deck can and will screw
over every beatdown. Oh also, add some magic negation for those m/t destroyers
(Breaker is ok he usually doesn't screw over a stall deck).
3.
Annoyance
This is my personal favorite. It combines stall and burn with a
few field fun cards to annoy the opponent. You must remember if u do run this
type of deck to be patient, if you get the opponent mad enough, they will
start to make mistakes. This deck is used to psych out the opponent by
continuously doing things to them. You would prolly want to use G-Bind,
Messenger of Peace, Just Desserts, Ojama Trio, Penguin Soldier, Swarm of
Scarabs/Locusts. Also Fiber Jar is your best friend with this deck. Cannon
Soldier would also work to launch the little guys to do some damage, and you
could add Scapegoats.
4. Favorite Card decks
Got a favorite
card, why not make a deck out of it. My favorite is Hayabuas Knight, and even
though Mataza is out now, I run them both. If your favorite monster is a
little ones, use some equips in your deck to power them up. If it's medium
surround them with some defense cards. If it's a big tribute monster you may
want to add a little stall to the mix to ensure you have the
monsters.
Well there's my tips, I hope some of you will switch to
these types, or others. Remember, no deck type is impossible.
