Building the Anti-Hand-D Deck
Hey there guys. Here's my next article, talking about a counter deck for the ever-famous Hand-D Decks. This deck, however, shouldn't be run unless you know you're going up against a Hand-D Deck. Let's looks at the cards used:

Despair from the Dark; Fear from the Dark
Zombie/Dark
2800/3000/8*; 1700/1500/4*
When this card goes to the Graveyard from your hand of deck by your opponent's card effect, this card is Special Summoned to your side of the field.

These cards are your main source of attack along with Regenerating Mummy. All the other monsters are for their effects.

Electric Snake
Thunder/Light
800/900/3*
When this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, draw 2 cards.

If Delinquent Duo hits this, you basically lose nothing. If Confiscation hits this, you get a card back, plus another. If Morphing Jar is used, you get 7 cards. If Card Destruction is used, you get 2 extra cards.

Elephant Statue of Blessing; Elephant Status of Disaster
Rock/Earth
1500/0/3*
When this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, increase your Life Points by 2000 points/inflict 2000 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points.

Only place these on the field if you really need to. Otherwise, these getting nuked mean either +2000 to you or -2000 to your opponent. That's nothing to scoff at.

Minar
Insect/Earth
850/750/3*
When this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, inflict 1000 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points.

If you manage to get 2 of these and 3 Elephant Statues of Disaster in your hand, and your opponent uses Card Destruction or Morphing Jar, that's game.

Night Assailant
Fiend/Dark
200/500/3*
FLIP: Destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. When this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard, return 1 Flip Effect monster in your Graveyard to your hand.

Basically, this is only viable when one exists in your Graveyard. Otherwise, you can use it as Monster Removal for a turn.

Penguin Knight
Aqua/Water
900/800/3*
When this card is sent from your deck to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, shuffle your Graveyard into your deck.

This is here because of Don's second effect, and that some Hand-D's have Needle Worm.

Regenerating Mummy
Zombie/Dark
1800/1500/4*
When this card is sent from your hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, return this card to your hand.

Basically, you'll always have the beatstick of Anti-Hand-D Decks in your hand. He's your main attacking force along with Fear/Despair.

Royal Command
Trap/Continuous
Negate all Flip Effects.

This is completely optional. If you want to use this, be my guest. I ain't stopping ya.

Now that the main cards are down, let's look at a deck example:
