Hi!  I am quite new in making CCG Tips.  Hopefully, this will actually be posted up!

 

To start off, did you ever check on the last review and the only review on Helpoemer?  It is probably one of the cards likely to be overlooked.  The last review on this card was on August 18, 2003.  WOW!  That's over a year ago!

 

Here's the effect:

-Helpoemer

  *Dark

  *Level 5

  *PGD-058

  *Fiend/Effect

  *When this card has been sent to the Graveyard as a result of

   battle, this card's effect is activated.  As long as this card exists

   in the graveyard, your opponent discards 1 card randomly

   from his/her hand at the end of his/her Battle Phase.  Neither

   player can Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.

  *ATK/2000  DEF/1400

 

As you see it, the effect is pretty good.  You know there are so many aggressive players out there who would attack him or you can be suicidal enough to hit a Jinzo or Berserk Gorilla.  Besides, he can also become food for BLS (Black Luster Soldier-IOC).  Though, only a few decks will accept Helpoemer like Fiend or Hand Disruption Decks.  Remember, this is a random discarding effect.  Therefore, your opponent isn't all happy with a continuous Delinquent Duo effect.  Let's discuss the pro's and con's though some might be repeated or similar to the last review.

-Combos off with hand disruption

-Combos off with discarding burners

-Fiend Monster

-Chaos or Fiend Food

-Creature Swappable with Metamorphosis Combo and kill it off yourself

-Dimension Fusionable

-Airknight Killer

-More in graveyard=more in discarding

-Facedown Deception

 

Con's

-Only works for few decks

-Somewhat situational

-Effect only works when it is destroy in battle

-Can't be revive back

Personal Thoughts:

I haven't been playing much for about 6 months and there are a tons of cards that either needs to be arrange or go into my binder.  I just came upon this card that my friend had mention.  I just started thinking about Yu-Gi-Oh a few days ago and already Metamorphosis Deck is already in my head.  I still have tons of old stuff and the Traditional Deck.  Right now, I might even be trying to make a Traditional Chaos Metamorphosis and an Advance Chaos Metamorphosis.  On top of this, I have tons of goodies in my binders now to make one or two more Traditional Deck.  I hope I can either trade them away or sell them.
