When
Cards Collide

PLEASE NOTE:
There has been a change to the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! For all of you
that didn't read Coin Flip's article, I recommend that you do so. However, here
is an introduction to what has happened.
1. You are ONLY allowed to change the battle position of a monster you control
manually (without the use of any other cards or effects) once PER TURN during
your MAIN PHASE.
a) Changing a position means either Flip Summoning a monster
from face-down defense position to face-up attack position, turning a monster
from face-up Attack Position to face-up Defense Position, or turning a monster
from face-up Defense Position to face-up Attack Position.
2. However, you MAY NOT change the battle position of a monster
you control if one of the following has occurred:
a) You have already changed the battle position of that
monster this turn.
b) You have DECLARED an attack with that monster.
c) You have Summoned that monster
this turn.
This doesn't change much in general game play, but I wish to point a few things out.
1.You CANNOT do the following: -Flip Summon a monster; -Activate
Book of Moon, targeting that monster; -Flip Summon the monster again.
You CANNOT do this as you have already Summoned the monster this turn.
2. You CANNOT do the following: -Declare an attack with a
monster on your side of the field that you summoned on a previous turn; -Your
opponent chains Book of Moon; -After the damage step, you Flip Summon the
monster.
You CANNOT do this as you declared an attack with the monster. That attack might
have been negated as the monster was turned to Defense Position, but that
doesn't matter. You declared the attack, you can't switch battle positions.
3. You CAN do the following: -Remove the token from a Breaker
the Magical Warrior you summoned during your last turn to destroy your
opponent's Set card; -Your opponent chains Enemy Controller to turn Breaker to
Defense Position; -After the chain resolves, turn Breaker to Attack Position and
attack as if nothing had happened.
You CAN do this as your opponent activating Enemy Controller does not summon the
monster, not cause it to declare an attack
I hope that is clear to everyone.
Last Solution:
On with other business, you lot enjoyed
this one. I'll have to remember that...
1. Flip Summon both Magicians of Faith's. Use their effects to add Monster Reincarnation and Double Spell to your hand.
2. Discard Armed Samurai – Ben Kei to activate Monster Reincarnation, returning Dark Magician of Chaos to your hand.
3. Discard Axe of Despair to activate Double Spell, activating Spell Economics.
4. Tribute both Magicians of Faith to Tribute Summon Dark Magician of Chaos. Use his effect to add Dimension Fusion to your hand.
5. Activate Snatch Steal, equipping The Little Swordsman Aile.
6. Turn The Little Swordsman Aile to Attack Position.
7. Tribute Dark Magician of Chaos to activate the effect of The Little Swordsman Aile. Dark Magician of Chaos is removed from play.
8. Activate Dimension Fusion for free due to the effect of Spell Economics. Special Summon Dark Magician of Chaos and use his effect to add Dimension Fusion to your hand.
9. Repeat Steps 7 and 8 and reasonably large number of times to make The Little Swordsman Aile have an ATK greater than about 22,000.
10. Attack a monster with The Little Swordsman Aile.
Final Result: Him - >0, You – 2100
Problem – Win the Game in One Turn:
Here is another of those puzzles not written by me. This one is quite entertaining. I thought of everything except the correct answer for about twenty minutes. I hope you lot enjoy it, you generally enjoy the ones with Chaos monsters in and you loved last week's!
21/7/5: I do apologize to readers, but this puzzle is apparently very similar to one used in World Championship 2005 by Kaiba. I don't own the game, so I wouldn't have known. If you have already completed that game, don't bother with this one.

This puzzle is also marvelous because, unlike mine, it doesn’t need too many cards to get the job done. There are only nine different cards. I’ve never been that simple, but I generally do overcomplicate things by hiding the cards you need in stupid places (all hail red herrings!). I also don’t spend many weeks writing one puzzle. I spend no more than three hours (sorry, but I do have other things to do with my time, ie. Maths).
Also, I can accept no responsibility for any similarity this puzzle may bear to anything produced by anyone else. I didn't write it and I haven't seen anyone else's puzzles.

may activate this card during your opponent's Battle Phase when you are on

hug him/her hard. Compliment him/her on his/her wonderful game play and
your obvious inferiority. Offering to polish his/her shoes can't go far
wrong. Once your opponent is sufficiently placated (in an independent
advisor's opinion), your opponent's turn ends. Skip your opponent's next
turn. If you gave your opponent a real Royal Decree (and won't be asking
for it back ever), you win the game. |
