Last Solution:

1. Activate The Shallow Grave. You select Magician of Faith and he selects Legendary Jujitsu Master.

2. Discard Upstart Goblin to activate Double Spell, activating Book of Taiyou from your opponent’s Graveyard, targeting Magician of Faith.

a. Use Magician of Faith’s effect to add A Feather of the Phoenix to your hand.

3. Discard Mask of Darkness to activate A Feather of the Phoenix, targeting Last Will.

a. Discard Double Spell to you chain with Serial Spell, targeting D. D. Survivor with this copy.

4. Activate Pot of Greed.

5. Activate Last Will.

6. Activate Dark Hole.

a. Use the effect of Last Will to Special Summon Injection Fairy Lily.

7. Normal Summon D. D. Survivor.

8. Attack directly with D. D. Survivor and Injection Fairy Lily, paying 2000 Life Points to activate the effect of Injection Fairy Lily to do 1800 + 400 + 3000 = 5200 damage.

Jasper Abano gets today’s alternate answer for the sheer joy of winning using Twin Long Rods #2. That is just great. In future my dud draw shall have to be Thousand-Eyes Idol.

1. Play The Shallow Grave and summon Magician of Faith in face-down defense mode.
2. Play Double Spell and discard Upstart Goblin to activate Book of Taiyou from your opponent's graveyard.
a. Book of Taiyou flips up Magician of Faith and you get Last Will from your graveyard.
3. Play Last Will and chain Serial Spell, discarding your hand.
4. Play Dark Hole.
a. Last Will's effect is applied twice allowing you to search for Injection Fairy Lily and D.D. Warrior Lady from your deck. They're special summoned to the field in face-up attack mode.
5. Play Pot of Greed and pick up Twin Long Rods #2 and another card.
6. Summon Twin Long Rods #2.
7. Attack with D.D. Warrior Lady, Twin Long Rods #2 and Injection Fairy Lily [using her effect to pay 2000 LP to boost her attack by 3000] dealing:
3400 + 1500 + 850 = 5750, more than enough to do the job.

Now this will probably be the first puzzle to ever be split into two for being too complex. This version should actually be rather easy as I haven’t hidden that much. It is merely a matter of working out what you need to do and doing it. And just to make life easy, you may choose to draw whatever you like with Pot of Avarice (if you can draw it). You don’t have to work your way around some convoluted rule. Have fun!

Dark World Monsters. An interesting lot that are annoyingly hard to get. Due to the absolute lack of anything else interesting, and the problems my brother has getting to tournaments, we haven’t managed the EEN set yet. Also, we haven’t got any decent trades and I’ve never got them to try and work my way into ultimates with shed-loads of rares. The collectiong feels empty. And does anyone have ultimates of the ultras from SOD other than Horus to trade?
