Zell's Deck of the Week
Ninjitsu Beasts
01.20.05
First, before I begin my first article, I would like to
thank everyone who congratulated me for become a member of
Pojo.com. I would also like to thank everyone for over 50
decks I received in two days for Deck of the Week, thank you
for making this happen.
I have seen many decks so far, but none like this. I have
attempted to make a deck like this before, though I didn't
build it as well. Many duelist overlook cards such as
Ninjitsu Art of Transformation and Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke,
and underestimate the two cards power when combined.
Playing those two cards can allow you to summon a Big Koala
with ease, if you play your cards right. However, 'Rare
Hunter Osiris' (RHO) decided not to include this, due to the
number of bad draws he'd get.
Without any more waiting, onto the deck:

Not too shabby. Let's see what RHO wrote:
The basic strats of my deck is to
A) Transform a Ninja into a Strong Beast
B) Swarm with my Warriors
C) Remove 5 monsters via Bazoo or Strike
Ninja then Dimension Fusion
D) If all else fails beat my opponent
down. Well this is a Beat-Down deck of sorts!
Other then that my deck is pretty straight foreword.
Let's take a look into this deck. I'll begin with the
monsters:
Jinzo - Many people consider this monster a 'Staple'
in any deck. Obviously RHO thought the same. Though since he
relies on a few traps I wouldn't use him in here, but that's
just me.
Bazoo the Soul Eater - The once Overplayed is now
Underplayed. Many people fail to see his full potential.
Once mixed with Dimension Fusion, Bazoo the Soul Eater is
twice as powerful!
Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke & Strike Ninja - Obvious
reasons, their name has 'Ninja' in it, and that is needed
for Ninjitsu Art of Transformation, and in Strike Ninja's
case, he also removes monsters from play. Yet another good
use for Dimension Fusion.
Morphing Jar - Pretty simple reason, if he needs a
hand badly, Morphing Jar will save him.
Now let's take a look at the Spells RHO picked:
Painful Choice - Strike Ninja, and Bazoo the Soul
Eater food. As simple as that.
Reinforcements of the Army - This card can help get
the 'Ninja' monsters into your hand faster, or possibly a D.
D. Warrior Lady, or Exiled Force to destroy a pesky monster.
Dimension Fusion - You saw this coming, I've only
been talking about throughout the whole monster section!
This card is great for bringing back removed from play
monsters.
And finally, the traps (Or should I just say trap?) :
Ninjitsu Art of Transformation - Another card I spoke
Highly of in this article. This card can be used to bring
out great beasts, specifically Bazoo the Soul Eater & Mad
Dog of Darkness. Though if you were to make your own form of
this deck, I'd use Big Koala due too his massive strength.
I have discussed all the combo's in this deck, while talking
about the needed Monsters/Spells/Traps, so no need for this
section.
Fast Forward
On to the review:
Originality: Well seeing as how this is the only deck
other then mine, that I have seen, of this kind. This deck
receives a 10/10 in originality!
Playability: Along with being original, this deck is
quite playable as well. This deck receives a 8/10 in
Playability!
Top Decking: Cards come fluently in this deck, I have
done many test draws, and I usually get a great hand: This
deck receives a 8/10 in Top Decking!
Overall: Overall this deck gets a 93.3%.
