this was my second tournament and I took my cousin and my girlfriend along with me.

Round 1: bucketofpower vs. Alex (dragon/fusion)

I faced Alex on my first tourney and beat him. This time however he played better. I don’t really remember the details, but I won a game, he won a game, and then I sealed the door when Jinzo came out to play.

Round 2: bucketofpower vs. Andrew? (stall deck)

This guy had an interesting deck. It always makes me happy that people build decks around common cards, and he used Toll effectively. I won the first game, he won the second, but I beat him in the third. He tribute to the doomed my barrel dragon only to reborn it and attack. Next turn I played black illusion ritual and summoned relinquished getting back my barrel dragon and summoning harpies brother for the win.

Round 3: bucketofpower vs. Chaz(deck with really no theme)—semi-finals

He beat my girlfriend in round 2, so I was expecting a really good deck. I realized that he didn’t have a theme and his cards weren’t that great. Apparently my girlfriend lost to him cuz of bad luck. Anyhoo I didn’t mess around and don’t remember much of what happened, but I beat him both games in a row.

Round 4: bucketofpower vs. Scott(relinquished)—finals

Scott had been talkin smack for the duration of the tourney. He kept sayin that I was the only competition, and this didn’t sit well with others. He said our decks were really similar, but that wasn’t the case at all. Whenever he brought out relinquished he’d never last. At one point I had relinquished, barrel dragon, and jinzo on the field. I took this round two games to none.

Got packs for my cousins, my girlfriend, and myself. I pulled the best card 7 Tools, so I was happy J
