No Side Deck

Don’t worry about Aquaria; she’s going to be in my deck next year when Labyrinth of Nightmare comes out in February. So pretty much the objective is to get Crab Turtle out and kick buttocks. This is all about speed--I don’t need to use Tribute Monsters since they’ll just get Trap Holed. This tournament is my fourth one; I lost in my first match twice during the first two and barely won in the third. Anyway, let’s get started!

She told me she has a Spellcaster deck with Blue Eyes White Dragon. Throughout the whole match she blatantly drew a card every time I use a Trap Card on her turn! I was like “What the heck?” I kept telling her she couldn’t draw cards unless it’s her Draw Phase or she had cards that let you draw them, but it’s like talking to a brick wall. Preteen girls...

I couldn’t remember much. I got Umi out and wore her down with 7 Colored Fish.

Hee hee--Okay, now this was when things got interesting. Before the second Duel began, she (loudly, I might add) announced she has a trump card that’s gonna beat my deck and switched to her Side Deck. When the Duel began, I found out it was a Remove Trap. Too bad she couldn’t remove any of my Traps, because they were face down. Eventually she summoned the Blue Eyes White Dragon and a Dark Magician. I Set Spear Cretin down and remembered I had another one in the Graveyard, so I could start the combo. Then, for like the next ten turns or so, she just kept attacking my Spear Cretin and kept bringing the one from the Graveyard back to the field face-down! She was ranting “I hate you!” and stuff. It was hilarious. Eventually she broke though that defense and took me out.

The manager called time and since we had a Draw, we had five more turns. When I tried to summon my Crab Turtle, I had to remind her that I could Tribute from my hand or from the field. She then tried to Monster Reborn one of my other CTs, but that one hadn’t been Special Summoned yet, so she couldn’t get it. I won by passing my turn, which was the final turn.

This kid had Ultimate Offering, which brought out some 7 Colored Fishes and other stuff to beat me up so fast I could barely notice how fast he did it.

The match was over in about three turns. He used Ultimate Offering to bring out 7CF and Harpie’s Brother (?) and direct attacked me to heck.

He summoned Maha Vailo early in the match (!!!) but I Trap Holed her. I had Monster Reborn in my hand, but just as I was about to do something, he Monster Reborned her first! He then slapped Fairy’s Meteor Crush on the revived Monster. She pretty much killed me really bad.

Not only did I managed to win one match, I also bought two Pharaoh’s Servant packs and got Nobleman of Crossout AND Nobleman of Extermination as my Rares! Woohoo!!! Now I got two of each! Time for props and slops.
