this was my very first tournament, so I decided to take my cousins along with me. I didn’t have an idea of how it’d turn out, but read on if ya want.
Round 1: Bye
went to mcdonalds to get some food
Round 2: bucketofpower vs. tony (deck with no theme)
this was my first match and I was kinda nervous, but I ended up whoopin on him
Round 3: bucketofpower vs. alex (dragon/fusion deck)
this was his first tournament too, but I took care of him no problem. I could definitely see why he got to round 3
Round 4: bucketofpower vs. trent (beatdown)
trent was a cool lil kid. his deck was awesome, but the cards just weren’t comin to him
Round 5 semi-finals: bucketofpower vs. dave or adam (forgot his name, but he had a beatdown)
this guy pissed me off. he took the game way too seriously. Whenever someone asked him a question he said he couldn’t answer cuz his full concentration was on the game. He beat me the first duel & pissed me off in the process. Needless to say, I had my revenge. Next duel I let him go first. He played 7 colored fish and I had in my hand my bd, reborn the monster, bir, relinquished, battle ox, & sumthin else. I played bir getting rid of bd to bring out relinquished w/fishy equipped, reborned my bd, & summoned battle ox. Attacked him for 6200 on my first turn. He wasn’t happy about that, and he wasn’t happy that I beat him to get to the finals.
Round 6 finals: bucketofpower vs. Trevor (exodia/monster removal)
He whooped me. First dual he got exodia out in less than 10 draws. Next dual he just beat me.
Got packs for my cousins, my girlfriend, and myself. I pulled the best card getting a jinzo, so I was quite happy J
