Match One: Me vs. This one
Kid(forgot his name)
Round 1:
Despite the facth that this kid was
quite new to Yu-Gi-Oh, he knew all the rules even better than some other people
around in that tournament...well, to the duel...it went quite quickly, all he
did were set magic and traps down and some occasional strong attackers. The
cards I played instantly destroyed his monsters, leaving him with an open field
and mine with a Barrel Dragon. I was wary of attacking because of his magic and
traps...his field was full. well, i attacked with Barrel Dragon, and he did
nothing. I repeated so about 3-4 times and i won.
Round 2: Pretty much
the same, except i had a witch of the black forest attacking instead...and it
took awhile...
Match: 2-0
Match Two: Me vs. Jimmy
This kid
looked like a decent duelist, but i was to find out he wasn't as good as i had
expected...
Round 1: ok, i had barrel dragon out on 3rd turn, i
attacked, and he COUNTERED by using..............................paralyzing
potion...........................JUDGE!!!! i had a judge come over and tell him
that he couldn't use magic cards on the opponent's turn, and yeah, i attacked
his LP. next turn he just set more magic and trap cards down along with a
facedown monster...my turn...i got a witch and played it in attack mode and used
barrel dragon's effect...got 2-3 so i destroyed his facedown monster and i
attacked his LP again, with both monsters. he then used ultimate offering and
set like 5 cards facedown...how ironic...i drew pot of greed...used it...and got
raigeki and giant trunade..i played both, attacked and won the
duel.
Round 2: well, i gained advantage early here...2 summoned
skulls on the field wiped him out in about 7 turns after i got throught his
traps and negated them with my seven tools.
Match: 2-0
Match 3: Me vs.
a kid with a weird name...
ok this kid had japanese cards in the
tourney...made things hard cuz JPN cards are easier to get than U.S
ones...
Round 2: ok he instantly started setting monsters in defense, and
i sent them to the grave or to his hand with my cards...he repeated throughout
the match, but in the end i had 2 summoned skull on him and after time, beat
him.
Round 2: alright this one pissed me off...i had a summoned skull
out, and he destroyed it with dark hole...he then started settin monsters out
during the next turns until he had 3...he sacrificed a LVL 4 monster in order to
bring out Relinquished...i reborned a blue eyes and he ate it...and after a
while attacked me for 3000, then finished me with his relinquished...i
lost
Round 3: this round ended quick...i took my summoned skull and
negated his magic/trap cards with my cards in order to defeat him in 4 turns of
me getting my summoned skull out.
Match: 2-1
Round 4(Final
Round)
Me vs. Ian
this guy was tough...he was 14, but hard as heck
to boot...however, he never expected that i was that good compared to
him...
Round One: well, he kept attacking my LP with La Jinn and all
those strong attackers...he attempted to play Monster Reborn, but i negated it
with magic jammer. he then got my LP down to 1700 while he was still at a full
8000...so i managed to play raigeki when i drew it, then brought out my blue
eyes white dragon with an axe of despair, and with the axe, i cut his life
points in a complete half..he then destroyed my blue eyes...i had a witch down
and attacked twice, and later tributed for my summoned skull....however, the
only facedown card he had on the field was a Trap Hole.....darn it!!!!......heh,
too bad i negated it...seven tools of the bandit....700-0 and i won the
duel
Round 2: this started out rough, my hand full of cards i didnt need
to use until later...at one point he had no monsters down, and i had a cyber jar
down but he played swords of revealing light and the cyber jar destroyed itself
and we...he then started his assault on my life points with his newly summoned
monsters...la jinn...7 colored fish, i was nearly finished...at 2600-8000, he
attacked, and i had mirror force...there went 4 of his monsters...he had no
facedown monsters, so he played one facedown...i played swords of revealing
light...it was witch of the black forest...i had no monsters, so i played Snatch
Steal after i got his lp down earlier when i had barrel dragon out...and
hane-hane returned barrel drqaogn to my hand later, so i played tribute to the
doomed and destoryed his other face down card...i discarded barrel
dragon...2600-4100...and i snatched his witch...i later noticed i had less
remaining cards in my deck than him...like me with 9 cards left and him with
10...i drew my next card and it was card destruction...he had like 6 cards in
his hand at the time...so i emptied out my hand, lay a man-eater bug and some
m/t cards and played card destruction...i had one card in my hand...a hane-hane,
so i discarded it and drew one card..he discarded 5, so he drew 5, so he had 4
cards left and another facedown monster he set on his next turn...i had witch
attack, and it was sangan...he looked throught the remains of his deck, and
found nothing...at that point it was only 3 cards left for him and 7 for me...he
never had to think for more than a minute, and was one of the 5 or so best duel
monsters duelists in my city...he never thought for more than a turn...i was the
first to make him do so...he was thinking what to do for 3 whole minutes, and he
ended his current turn, so it was my turn, and i managed to stall that turn...he
kept gaining LP due to snatch steal but it didnt matter to me now...my turn i
attacked his LP with witch, his turn he simply had 2 cards left now...next turn
i repeated so...his turn he had 1 card left to draw...he played dark hole, but
not did he know i had a magic jammer and i discarded my barrel dragon to negate
that dark hole...my turn, i simply ended...he drew his last card...started to
think again, and held his hand out, "Good Job, that's game"...i shook his hand
and told him he was a very formidable opponent...i had won!
