It was like this. If you win a duel (which in this, consisted of one match) u go on to the next level. Whoever got 1st place would get 10 packs of whichever series, 2nd place yould get 5, and 3rd place would get 2. Every duelist was aloud to have a mix of Japense cards and American due to Japanese translator guy.

Battle 1

Me-8000

Some Guy That was nice but really sucked-8000-7950-6300

The guy started of playing Ryu-Kishin Powered in Attack Mode and placed a m/t card face down. I played Whip Tail crow and placed Fairy's hand Mirror Face down and attacked. The Next Turn the guy sets a monster and activates Change Of Heart which i countered with Fairy's Hand Mirror. I took his face down monster and attacked his Lp directly. He had no more non-tribute monsters and I jsut direct attacked.

 

Battle 2

A girl about 12-8000-6000-0

I started playing Dark Elf in attack mode and placed a m/t card. The girl placed Witty Phantom in defense mode and ended her turn. I Fissured her Witty Phantom and Directly Attacked with Dark Elf. She  she placed Feral Imp in attack mode but my face down card Trap Hole killed it. It was my turn and i played Swords of Revealing Light. Then Tributed Dark Elf for Summoned Skull and won by Direct aTtacking.

 

Battle 3

Proffesional Duelist that owned me 8000-7500

I lost in this match and it was long. This guy was really good. He started of with settin a monster card then placing a m/t card face down. I summoned Neo the magic swordsman but i didn't attack because i was wacthin that m/t card he placed face down. The guy then set another card face down. I was kinda confused so i placed retrained Celtic Gaurdian in atack mode and i attacked with both monsters. My neo went to the graveyard because one monster was a mann eater bug and the other was black forest wicht. The guy got a card from his deck then played La jinn in attack mode and destroyed my retrained elvan swordsman. I then played Battle ox in attack mode and boosted his attack by 700 with rush recklessly. and killed his la jinn. Then he set snother monster and placed another m/t card  and ended his turn. I tributed my Battle Ox and played Dark Magician Girl in attack mode. I played Mystic Plasma Zone and then played Heavy Storm to destroy the magic cards. I attacked the face down monster and it was nothing of a threat. The guy then played a monster and share the pain which destroyed my Dark Magician Girl and allowed him to play Shadow Goul and directly attacked. He then played hand obliteration and his gouls attack was now 2300. i placed one m/t card face down and summoned Magnet Warrior Beta, He attacked with goul but it activaed my trap Spell Binding Circle. He ended his turn and i monster reborned my Neo and used ritual of Black Chaos to summon my favorite monster Magician of Black Chaos. i destroyed his goul but sadly he Dark Holed me and played Lord of Dragons Flute of Summoning Dragon and one Tri Horned Dargon which recieved a power bonous from my mystic Plasma Zone and direct attacked. I then placed Early Burial Brought back my dark magician girl (who got a power bonuos through Magician of Black Chaos AND a dark magician that was destroed with hand obliteration earlier in the game) equiped her with axe of despair and destroyed his Tri horned Dragon. This is were i lost. The guy played Fissure then played the monster Master and Expert directly attacked and played ookazi to win.
