Yo sup Yugioh fans. I'm back for a third time, and this time I've
brought a nice ritual deck to wreck chaos in the tournaments. Now that I've got
a new job, I was able to snag some very nice cards like another relinquished and
2 of his required magic rituals.
As you all know, I have written 2 reports
that have gotten lots of excellent feedback, and now I've decided to write
another report for my loyal fans.
Well, this time I chose to exploit the
amazing powers of the ritual monsters, more specifically, Crab Turtle. He is
really amazing. If u draw the right cards, u can bring this brute out first turn
and devastate your opponent with a stunning 2550 atk power. He can even prevent
an early summoned skull, the staple of all beatdowns. He, along with my other
prized monsters the Great Moth and Pumpking, will lead me toward fame, or
infamy, if viewed from my opponent's perspective lol.

My
Deck: Well, u should know by now that I'm running a Ritual Deck, if u don't
then u must be mentally unstable.
-As far as monsters go, I put in 3
Crab Turtle for his power, 2 Relinquished for his awesome effect and the fact
that he can be brought out very easily, and Hungry Hamburger for his descent atk
power and that he requires only 6 stars to bring out. Blue Eyes is in there for
his only purpose in life, to beat the stuffing out of my opponents. Senju of the
Thousand Hands and Sonic Bird are there to help me draw out the ritual monsters
and their required ritual magic cards. La Jinn, Jirai Gumo, and Sanga of the
Thunger are added for some extra fire power, and for Sanga's nice effect.
Magician of Faith, Big Eye, Cyber Jar, Weather Report, and Man Eater Bug are
there for their flip effects, obviously.
-For my magic, I added the
Ritual Magic cards to summon my Ritual Monsters. Then I added some new additions
to my arsenal, which are Mystical Space Tycoon, Rush Recklessly, and Axe of
Despair. These cards are a must for any deck, trust me. They helped me out a
lot. Next we have some old favorites, which include Swords of Revealing Light,
Raigeki, Pot of Greed, Change of Heart, Monster Reborn, and Dark Hole. That's it
for the magic.
-As far as traps go, I added two new buddies to help me
out, and they are Spellbinding Circle and Fairy's Hand Mirror. These guys have
nice effects, I must say. Spellbinding Circle can stop an opponents power house,
like say a Black Skull Dragon or Blue Eyes Ultimate in its tracks. Fairy's Hand
Mirror is a very good trap, in my opinion anyway. He is simply amazing. Instead
of your opponent equipping his Axe of Despair on his monsters, u can instead
select it to target one of your own monsters so that they can be powered up by
1000 points. And say your opponent uses Snatch Steal. Instead of him/her gaining
your Blue Eyes, they control your La Jinn and give u an extra 1000 LP for
nothing when your Blue Eyes can easily blast away his new La Jinn. That's why I
like that card so much. I don't think I will have to explain my other traps sine
they are so thorough already.
Tournament Preparations: Well,
there were 20 participants and it was a single elimination match. There was to
be 5 rounds. The prize was 5 magic ruler boosters. They didn't give away any
tournament boosters because they had no more left (damn!). They also told us
some rules like no stealing or fighting ,etc. I was kinda nervous though because
I knew almost everyone participating there, and I knew that they were very good
duelists, not those stupid people who just go for any powerful card they have
and try to blast their opponent away. Well, anyway, LETS
DUEL!!!
ROUND ONE
RITUAL REALITY vs. PET OF THE
HARPIES
This was the same guy I lost to in my first tournament with
the Harpie's Pet Dragon. When I we found out we were dueling each other, he
comes up to me and apologizes to me that he won against me before. He then tells
me that he used the card wrong and that he was only supposed to get powered up
by 300 points for each Harpie Lady Sisters (I even looked it up online and found
out that that's what it says), not 500. I was kinda surprised, I thought he
cheated me when I found out the true effect. I accepted his apology and we both
wished each other good luck, then we started to duel. I drew a pretty nice hand
- Hungry Hamburger, Pot of Greed, Axe of Despair, Rush Recklessly, Sonic Bird -
I go first and place Rush Recklessly on the field f/d then play Sonic Bird face
down in defense mode. He goes and plays Harpie Lady Sisters and adds a sword of
deepseated. He attacks and I use sonic birds effect to take out hamburger recipe
from my deck (it was almost at the bottom!) I then draw Sanga of the Thunder and
sacrifice him through the effect of Hamburger Recipe to bring out Hungry
Hamburger. I then attach Axe of Despair to him and kill her Harpie Lady Sisters.
Then he plays Swords of Revealing Light and brings out a monster face down
defense mode. I draw La Jinn. I play Pot of Greed to get Magic Jammer, and Big
Eye. I play big eye face down and Magic Jammer face down and end my turn. He
then brings out another monster face down and a card in his m/t zone. I go and
draw Change of Heart. I flip over my Big Rye and arrange my next cards to be -
Swords of Revealing Light, Mystical Space Tycoon, 7 Tools of the Bandit, Blue
Eyes White Dragon, Man Eater Bug- Then I play La Jinn in attack mode and end my
turn. He goes and tributes his two monsters for a Harpie's Pet Dragon and
attaches an Axe of Despair to it and he kills my La Jinn and brings my LP down
to 6800. I go and draw Swords of Revealing light and I play it. I then activate
Rush Recklessly and attack but then he activates Waboku (damn I should have set
up the 7 tools first). I end and he goes. He goes and activates another of his
Swords of Revealing Light and then uses an Elegant Egotist to bring out another
Harpie Lady Sisters to power up his dragon to 3300. I go and draw Mystical Space
Tycoon and play it to get rid of his SORL and I kill his Harpie Sisters. Then I
activate Big Eye's effect again and set up the cards, this time I arrange - Axe
of Despair, 7 Tools, Man eater bug, Jirai Gumo, then Blue Eyes - He goes and
ends his turn by play two cards face down. I go and draw Axe of Despair, the I
equip it to Hungry Hamburger and bring him up to 4000 attack power. I kill his
Pet Dragon and he loses 1000LP. From there on, the duel tipped to my favor.
Later I bring out Blue Eyes and I negate his Mirror Force with 7 Tools. After
that, I won the duel by diminishing his forces with Blue Eyes and attacking
directly with Hungry Hamburger. He congratulates me on my victory and I
congratulate him for doing pretty good in this duel. At least I got my revenge

ROUND TWO
RITUAL REALITY vs. ULTIMATE GREAT MOTH OF
DEATH
As I said, everybody that participated were really good
duelists and now that we reached the second round, I knew things were gonna get
a lot harder. This guy that I versed was a real fan of mine since he read my
last two reports and he really liked my Great Moth deck. He pretty much copied
it except he added some WotBF to bring out his cocoons and petit moth's out a
bit faster and he had the card that I really needed, the "Perfectly Ultimate
Great Moth." This guy is the final form of the Great Moth, and he has a life
threatening 3500 attack power. Its only drawback is that he can only be brought
out if Petit Moth has been equipped with Cocoon of Evolution for 6 turns instead
of 4. Well, when we started, he went first. He played a monster face down and
ended his turn. I go and draw my hand, which contains - Turtle Oath, Pot of
Greed, Jirai Gumo, Sanga of the Thunder, and Relinquished. I place Jirai Gumo
down and attack, but I flip wrong (NOOOOOOOOOO) so 4000LP goes down the drain.
Then I find out he had Big Eye face down. He sets it up then he goes. He then
uses pot of greed and plays a monster face down and equips something to it (I
knew it had to be petit moth and cocoon of evolution) and he plays a card face
down in the m/t zone. I go and draw La Jinn. I play him and attack with Jirai
(this time I flip right) and then he activates The Reliable Guardian. I lose a
further 500 points. I end my turn and he goes and plays Swords of Revealing
light. Then he plays his own Jirai Gumo and leaves him in attack mode. I go and
draw Blue Byes White Dragon. I sacrifice my two monsters and bring out Sanga of
the Thunder. From there, he activates another Swords of Revealing Light and then
manages to bring out The Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth and kills my Sanga of the
Thunder to bring me down to 2600 LP. Next turn I play Pot of Greed and draw Crab
Turtle and Magic Jammer. I place Magic Jammer face down and bring out Crab
Turtle by sacrificing Blue Eyes White Dragon. I then play my own Swords of
Revealing Light. In the three turn stall, I draw weather report, 7 tools, and
Axe of Despair. I add Axe of Despair to my Crab Turtle. Then he plays Wobaku and
pulls off another Swords of Revealing Light with a Magician of Faith. I use
Weather Report's effect to negate it and I then Destroy his Moth, then kills his
magician by La Jinn. Since Weather Report allows to attack again, I attacked
again with direct damage with Crab Turtle and Jirai Gumo (I flipped wrong again
and that brought me down to 1300 LP while he's down to 2550). He then goes and
plays raigeki. I play Magic Jammer. Then he plays Jirai Gumo with an Axe of
Despair attached to it then he kills my Jirai Gumo (he flipped right.) now im
down to 300LP. I go and draw Fairy's Hand Mirror and play it face down. I try to
attack but he activates Spellbinding Circle to trap my Crab Turtle. Then he goes
and attaches a Malevolent Nuzzler to his Jirai Gumo and brings its attack up to
3900. However, I activate Fairy's Hand Mirror to target the power up to my Crab
Turtle instead. I go and draw man eater bug. I play it face down and end my
turn. He goes and plays dark hole. Then he uses Steel Scorpion and attacks me to
bring me down to 50 LP (I have no Idea why he would play Steel Scorpion) I go
and out of sheer luck, I draw the ultimate……………..Monster Reborn!!!!!!! I then
use it to bring back the Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth! I then attack his
unprotected Steel Scorpion and I blast away his remaining LP. I guees he wasent
as clever as I thought, but he did put up a good fight. I just asked him why did
he play Steel Scorpion, then he says " I wanted to see if I could humiliate you
by defeating u by a weak guy with only 250 attack power." Well it didn't work
pal, get outta my sight!

ROUND THREE
RITUAL REALITY vs. EXODIA:
OBLITERATE
This was one of my friends form my high school. I knew
that he played an Exodia deck and I knew his cards inside out. He loves Exodia
and he always uses this deck no matter what. I thought he would be a very easy
adversary, but he wasn't as easy as I thought because he added some new cards.
When we started the duel, I drew - Crab Turtle, Blue Eyes White Dragon,
Spellbinding Circle, Fairy's Hand Mirror, Axe of Despair - I go first, and since
I didn't draw any no tribute monsters, I just play Spellbinding Circle and
Fairy's Hand Mirror face down and end my turn. He goes and plays a monster
facedown and plays a magic card called Toll, which requires each player to pay
500 LP to attack. I go and draw La Jinn. I play it and attack his monster. It
ends up to be a Sangan (what a surprise) and he searches for his Exodia piece no
doubt. He goes and plays another monster face down, but this time, he plays
Messenger of Peace (OMG I hate this card when its used against me lol) which
renders my La Jinn useless. I then smack his head cuz he knows how much this is
gonna hurt my chances at winning this duel, then he smacks me back lol. Anyway,
I go and draw Pot of Greed and use it to draw Magician of Faith and Big Eye. I
play Magician of Faith face down and end my turn. He goes and plays Giant
Soldier of Stone to attack, but I activate Spellbinding Circle. I go and flip my
Magician to face up attack mode. I activate his effect to bring back my Pot of
Greed to draw Swords of Revealing Light and Axe of Despair. I attach Axe of
Despair to my Magician of Faith and raise her attack power to 1400. I attack and
kill his Soldier of Stone. He goes and plays a monster down and uses Upstart
Goblin to draw a card. I go and draw Rush Recklessly. I then place Big Eye down
in attack mode. I attack with Magician of Faith, which then turns out to be a
Magician of Faith which he uses to bring back Upstart Goblin. I then attack
directly with Big Eye and end my turn. He goes and plays a card face down then
plays Painful Choice. He shows me five cards I choose Toll to go into his hand.
Then he plays another monster face down. I go and draw Change of Heart. I then
attack with Magician of Faith, but he activates Mirror Force and clears my
field. He goes and plays Mystical Space Tycoon to get rid of my Swords of
Revealing Light and he then plays another Giant Soldier of Stone and plays a
card face down. He then attacks for direct damage. I decide that I need to end
this before he draws Exodia cuz he has way to many stall cards out. I draw the
amazing, the unstoppable, Mystical Space Tycoon and use it to destroy his
Messenger of Peace. Then I play Change of Heart and attach Axe of Despair to it.
Then I attack directly again. He goes and lays a defense monster down. I go and
draw Magic Jammer and attack to reveal a Mystic Tomato. He goes and tries to
play Messenger of Peace again, but I activate Magic Jammer. So, he lays another
monster face down. I go and draw Raigeki and use it to get rid of his Witch of
the Black Forest and attack directly. Next turn he doesn't lay anything (I bet
his hand must have four of the Exodia pieces by now) so I go and I attach Rush
Recklessly to Giant Soldier of Stone to bring his attack to 2900 and blast his
LP away to 0. After I won, he revealed his hand and he had four of the pieces
with only 13 cards left in his deck. Boy was that close. The new cards I was
talking about were Toll and Messenger of Peace. Well, I congratulated him on
putting up a great battle and I went on to the next round.

ROUND FOUR
COMIX WORLD vs. SHINE PALACE
This
was the semi-final round between my friend's cousin and some guy I didn't know.
I was set up to verse whoever won the semi-finals. I didn't feel like watching
the beginning so I went to talk to some of the people who stayed. We talked
about the new magic ruler cards and about the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh episodes. That's
when I noticed that the guy with the Toon deck was slipping in cards to his hand
from his pocket. I went up to him and confronted him. When they searched him,
they found he had Toon World and Toon Summoned Skull and Swords of Revealing
Light in his pockets. He claimed that he just kept them in there but when they
counted his cards (then had only just started), he had 9 cards in his hand
filled with Toon monsters. Anyway, he was disqualified and they set me up with
the other kid for the final match.
ROUND FIVE
RITUAL REALITY vs. SHINE
PALACE
This guy ran a light deck with Blue Eyes White Dragon and Twin
Headed Thunder Dragon as his main powerhouses here. He also ran three Shine
Palace (which powers up light monsters by 700 attack points) and Luminous Spark,
which is a field magic card that increases 500 attack power and decreases 400
defense power from any light monsters on the field. I know that he had thses
cards cuz I took a look at his deck after we finished. I didn't get to see him
use these cards though cuz the duel wasn't much interest at all. I beat him very
quickly that it wasn't even funny and the only reason I beat him was cuz he
couldn't draw a single monster. Here's how it went. I go and draw - Jirai Gumo,
Blue Eyes White Dragon, Relinquished, Black Illusion Ritual, Black Illusion
Ritual - He goes and lays Neo the Magic Swordsman in attack mode equipped with
Shine Palace. I go and sacrifice my Blue Eyes to summon Relinquished and absorb
his Neo to attack directly. From there he played no more monsters because from
the looks of his annoyed face, he couldn't draw any. I later layed Jirai and
finished the duel with him and Relinquished. A very disappointing victory
indeed. He made quite a show with his other duels cuz I could hear some of the
people watching him go "omg this guy is sure to win" and "ooooooo nice combo,
damn this guy's good." Well, at least I won lol.
MAD AVALANCHE - 4 WIN
0 LOSE
Tournament Results: Well I won first place again. This
time I won five magic ruler boosters and in them I got Cyber Jar, Messenger of
Peace, Maha Vailo, Black Illusion Ritual, and The Forceful Sentry. No tournament
pack this time, how sad. Well, that's it for this time. A very fun tourney
though, despite of the easy victory in the end. I got to experience nice decks
that the people used like the Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth and I got my revenge
against the guy with the Harpie's Pet Dragon. Well, until next
time!!
Props:
- Winning the tourney
- Getting my
revenge
- Getting Maha Vailo
- Beating the Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth
(its Japanese just in case anyone was wondering)
- Disqualifying the Toon guy
cuz Toon monsters are annoying to deal with and I was sure I would have to verse
him in the finals
Slops:
- For having a
disappointing Finals match
- For only winning five Magic Ruler Boosters
-
For not winning a Tournament Pack
- Still not owning a Gate Guardian
- For
not being a Pojo member
Well, if anyone wants to email me for tips,
you can reach me at KingHR6788@aol.com I will also do deck fixes since I am a
good duelist. You can also reach me on my AIM sn which is QueensCrUsHeR911 (if u
want to chat then chat with me on my aim screen name, I prefer it better). Well,
peace out everybody and happy dueling!!!
P.S> I have been
interested in Pojo for a while and I was wondering if I could become a deck
mechanic or Card of the day reviewer because I know I would be perfect for the
job. I have helped a lot of people out with their decks and I am an expert at
Yu-Gi-Oh. I would like to ask of the people that I help online to please contact
Pojo and try to convince them that I would be perfect as a part of the
Pojo staff. I would really appreciate it.
PPS> If anyone wants
to duel online then im me but only if u wanna duel using YuGiOh Virtual Desktop,
not that bull Instant Message dueling cuz its very easy for someone to cheat.
Ok, Bye again!
