Subject: Mixed Deck of Doom,Bryan,Heroes and Fantasies, San Antonio
Mixed Deck of Doom - By me Bryan.
Location of Tournament- Heroes and Fantasies, San Antonio, Texas.
Date- October 6th, 2002.
Number of People- 32
The rules went like this: Everyone would play four rounds, and after four rounds the 6 people with the best records played for 1st-5th place. 1st got 10 magic ruler packs, 2nd 8, third 5, fourth 4, fifth 2. No promos, tournament cards or japanese cards. Here's my deck:

Round 1

This was easy, when he played Griggle on his first turn I knew he was a newb. I got Summoned Skull out on my second turn and attached Megamorph to him. The newb didn't have any monsters and I ended up killing him in three turns.

Round 2-

This kid had ALOT of cards. He hit me hard and early with Summoned Skull after clearing the field with his Raigeki. I drew a Fissure next turn so I used that on the SS, and played a 7 Colored Fish and attached Megamorph to it. He played La jinn and then played an Ookazi on me. I drew Dian keto, and played that, then killed his La Jinn. I can't remember what happened, but eventually I got a Summoned Skull with an Axe of Despair equipped and finished him.

Round 3

This guy was cool, but he cursed alot. I got Dark Elf, Summoned Skull and Megamorph in my starting hand somehow. I put Dark Elf face-down first, then he played some magic/traps face-down and played a La Jinn. I flipped my Dark Elf, and payed 1000 to attack. The I tributed Dark Elf and played SS with Megamorph. He played a monster(I forget which one), but I drew Fissure and destroyed it. Then I attacked with SS for direct damage. I can't remember what happened, but I eventually won.

Round 4

This guy was cool, he looked at my deck and earlier and said he hoped he didn't play me. I went first, and played some magic/trap but didn't get any monsters. He played a la Jinn, so i trap-holed it. I got a MEB, so I played it face-down. He Raigeki'd me, then played a 7CF. I didn't get any monsters, so he got to attack with 7CF for direct damage. I can't remember what happened, but  I got a SS out eventually, and he used an Invader of the Throne and TOOK IT. He attached his own Megamorph to it and eventually killed me.

This guy was good, but I was lucky this time and he was unlucky. I got Soul Exchange and Summoned Skull in my starting draw, so I let him go first. After beating him up some with my Summoned Skull, I used Ookazi and drew my Axe of Despair the next turn. I killed him since I had two Trap Holes, every time he tried to Summon a monster trap holed it then attacked for direct damage on my turn.

Well, that's it. I bought five packs with my prize money, and got a Tribute to the Doomed, Forceful Sentry and Horn of the Unicorn. In case you didn't notice, my favorite combo is Summoned Skull+Megamorph.
