First of all this
deck is intended to draw your key magic cards for the easy win. Thunder dragons are immediately discarded to
search for the other 2, this making your deck automatically 2 cards shorter
making the odds of drawing 1 of the 5 restricted magic approximately 1 in 6.4 cards considering that they are not
already in your hand. The thunder dragons are the held on to giving you card
advantage and a card to use to discard when using tribute to the doomed. Also
to increase your odds even more you can send out a witch of the black forest or
sangan to defend and search for the other sangan and witch, masked sorcerer
also speeds this up with his ability to draw cards. All of that, my guess would
be a 1 in 5 chance of drawing magic. And once you have the magic its fun
time.....enjoy destroying your opponent =)
Now secondly,
untouchables runs tournaments usually 2 times a week, never on mondays which
would make Grays deck report from the day before a lie. Gray please do not make
our players look bad, as we do not want the store looking like it has bad
players. If you need proof of this just look at rankings on Duelist King
Tournaments at http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com I am yu4073839.
TOURNAMENT - Final Place Second
Round One
Marcus vs. Gaj (A Fast Haymaker)
Let me tell you Gaj is one good player.....jee I wonder why
we always get paired up first round. Usually these tournaments are won by about
5 different people and Gaj is one of those. I won the duel 2-1 with lots of
trouble....I lost the first match and won the second one by a hair with achange
of heart to his man-eater bug killing his skull. The third game Gaj lets just
say slip away from a monster reborn but..Gaj is still probably my toughest
opponent.
Round Two
(Buy)
Rounds 3-5 were aginst Angelo, Mike (Master) and Ali (Mike's
Apprentice that seems to beat me alot)
I can't recall what happened to much in these game but I
definitly know that these werethe toughest match ups in a row that I have ever
had in a tournament. I beat Mike 2 straight along with Ali but they were close
games....Angelo I faced in the Semi-Finals and won 2-1, I beat him down pretty
quick in 3rd game with mass swarm of Dark Elf's and a raigeki to win. Overall
they are all great players.
Round Six (Finals)
Marcus vs. Thong Tran (A variation of Fiend/Spell Casters)
Thong is one of my friends and usually I sneak away with the
win but not this time....let me just use one of his sayings...HE SMASHED MY
DREAMS!! Now that thats said he beat me 2-0 and I was still dazed when it
happened. I have never in my life experienced the wrath of Thong's Change of
Heart to all of my Magician;s of Faith. He eneded up using robb'n goblin to
totally wreck my card advantage. Basically anytime he got going with ronbb'n
goblin I was unable to recover from it. He easily beat me but still it was a
good game. As always just waiting till our next game, where I can do the same to
him.
If I mixed something up or said something wrong I appologize
for those mistakes.
