This was my first tournament so I was a little nervous. After I got my deck checked in my brother got a Mage Power!! That really made me jealous and the fact that I forgot my money so I could buy a Royal Command made it worse. I traded 3x Summoned Skulls for another Barrel Dragon the day before the tournament^_^ The prize is pretty weak, 1x PHV pack, 1x LON pack and 1x Japanese PHV pack

The tournament was pretty small so the shop owner let 2 kids who dueled the day before duel for fun. So even if they beat me I still get to go to the next round, wich is really good because the 2 guys were realllllly good.

Round 1: Ballistic vs. Tom something with beatdown(originally a bye)

Duel 1: I got an average hand. I played Gemini Elf and set Imperial Order. He played GAF and attacked and used monster reborn on Gemini Elf. I played Gearfried and attacked his GAF. Then I played monster reborn on his GAF an- he played COTH on GAF before I could reborn him. He played Another GAF and that was it.

Duel 2: Same old thing except it took a little longer

Round 2: (the first guy was playing for fun^_^) Ballistic vs. guy with a Necrofear/Exodia/Legendary Fisherman Deck

Duel 1: His deck sounds bad but he was really good and I mean really good. I was afraid I was going to lose with all of his skill and my bad luck against exodia. I was really glad to see what cards I got in my first hand Gearfried, Imperial Order, Dark Hole, Barrel Dragon, Forceful Sentry and Confiscation. I played the two hand disruption cards and chopped off exodia’s legs. I played Gearfried and ended my turn. He played Revival Jam in ATK mode and set two more cards. I set giant germ and attacked but he activated gravity bind. He played Kycoo along with Graceful Charity and Pot of Greed. I offered to play Barrel but he activated mask of restrict. Heavy storm. It went on for a while like this until he had only one card left. I would of won earlier if he hadn’t of played another Gravity Bind. He ran out of cards and I won.

Duel 2: My first hand was 2 Barrels, Giant Germ, Magic Jammer, and Monster Reborn. I set Giant Germ and magic jammer. He played Kycoo with a mage power but I countered it with magic jammer and discarded Barrel. He attacked and I summoned 2 Germs. I drew and Tribute the Germs to play Barrel Dragon. Then I played Monster Reborn on the Barrel Dragon I discarded. It was me after that.

Final: Ballistic vs. Really nice kid

Duel 1: I got his jinzo with monster reborn and confiscation along with Gemini Elf on my first turn. He didn’t have any monsters for like 3 turns so I won.

Duel 2: This was a lot harder. He totally killed me with his Kycoo and Bazoo (that rhymed …weird)

Duel 3: I got my Gearfried out and he chained it. He played a monster face down and ended his turn. I played dark hole but he countered it with magic jammer and discarded jinzo. I HATE JINZO!!!! He played Premature Burial but I countered it with magic jammer he countered that with seven tools and I countered that with another seven tools. LOL I got my Barrel out and he just didn’t really do much after that.
